I enjoyed my stay as I usually do at Wyndham properties however this particular one I didn't care for the professionalism that was given to me by the Hotel manager named Gail who I felt was partial to my race when i brought an issue to her concerning an issue that happen at the pool. I also have never been at a Wyndham and had to pay for a late check out. The manager quoted $25 and the housekeeping supervisor said $10. When i confronted the front desk I asked to speak to the manager and now she was unavailable. The front desk told me well that is what the manager quoted I asked to see it in writing and I was denied. I also wasn't able to converse with housekeeping cause some didn't speak enEnglish. So if your in Greensboro I advise you to look for a true Wyndham hotel cause this one was far from it.
We spent two nights here while visiting my mom and brother in the area. Found an excellent rate on booking.com, which is totally unheard of for what we got. Their breakfast buffet was tasty and very classy served on white square plates, silverware wrapped in cloth napkins and no slam lids on their stainless steel, see thru breakfast warmer lids. (My wife brought me breakfast in bed our 1st morning. We returned the plate to the eating area. Please dont leave them in your room putting more burden on house keeping). Our bed was large and very comfortable, and the frig and microwave came in handy also. We didnt know it was a pet friendly hotel, but was reminded when my wifes allergies flared up and the neighbors 2 dogs barked everytime we entered or left our room, but neither was a huge deal. Also the tv remote needed to be upgraded to cable remotes that can have their keys light up for night time viewing. A feature not found on the basic Samsung remote.
my overall experience at the Wyndham was satisfactory, the office staff was always kind and courteous. The only reason that I didn't rate them a 5 was because of housekeeping, our rooms wasn't cleaned up until after 3:00pm...Our Family Reunion just happen to be held there, and it was a little embarrassing for family members to come up to our rooms (by the way I had reserved "2" rooms and a suite) to visit and to find it in such a disarray not to mention there were ants on the tables and in the drinking glasses from cranberry juice that was drunk in them had I known I would have rinsed out the glasses myself. And the carpet was never vacuumed the entire time we were there (we were there for "5" days.
Disappointed that I could not get a ride to the airport in the morning. The staff could not provide rides until 9:30 a.m. Had to get a taxi.
We stayed four nights while attending a national family reunion first weekend in June. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The food was good (we had a banquet), and the on-site restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. Bedding was excellent (mattress not too hard), and the cooling by wall thermostat was very good. The wi-fi would not work from our room (209). However, the room was quiet as it overlooked the side parking lot and not the inner courtyard with the pool. The biggest negative was the small bathrooms with NO towel rails, very inconvenient for guests.
My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Wyndham Garden Greensboro and were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. The room was comfortable with a really good bed. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. The hotel has great meeting facilities for large or small groups. A great place to stay!
Great Hotel Staff! Lov that there is a Bar Restaurant attached to property! Breakfast was good this time around! Sometimes Breakfast is not out for Buffet and they make you want you like! This can be alittle slow at times! But over all great comy place!
This facility is undergoing renovation. Staff open to suggestions on ways to make your stay better in the future. Friendly people. Coordinator for reunion very helpful. Only negative was the internet system needs to be amped up a bit, some areas of the hotel had dead spots.
Easily found near Interstate. Staff and kitchen crew were top notch. The food was very well prepared and the buffet was excellent.
Clean, beautifully remodeled within the last year. The staff is ALL exceptional and helpful, anticipating and gulfilling our needs. The food is exceptional. Whether you eat at Coopers on-site, or have the hotel cater your event, you will be pleased! They were able to meet dietary restrictions, as well.
