DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Flagstaff

Spent a lot of time on making the lobby and rooms look good but other facilities were outdated and dirty. Good hotel if you don't use anything other than the room.

Just okay but we travel a lot and have much to compare with. Also, no rope bridge for the kids as pictured on their website. Lastly, we'd stay here again.

Over priced for the type of room. Billed on the day I checked in for the full amount causing over draft charges to my account of $240.00. With all the competition in the area, I will be staying somewhere else on my next visit to Flagstaff.

The staff was always helpful and very courteous. The winter ground was very icy in town when we arrived (although the hotel's exterior walkways were well maintained.) As we arrived, an employee dropped what he was doing and ran to help my family member cross the parking lot when he saw her look unsteady on her cane. He walked her through the door like a proper gentleman and absolutely refused to leave her side until she was settled in a chair or had decided where she wanted to go. Every time we crossed the lobby during our stay, he greeted her at the elevators and escorted her to wherever she wanted to go in the hoteI. I thought he was the bellman because he was so quick to help at the door, but later we found out that he was a maintenance man Whi was changing a burnt out light when he saw my family through the window. The front desk told us that he flew off his ladder to my family's aide when he saw a guest in need of assistance. They said was Johnny-on-the-spot before the comparably welcoming front desk folks could even round the corner. His chivalry was outstanding, and it was an extension of the level of service all the staff showed us and other guests while we were there. The room was clean, fresh (no weird hotel smells), and nicely decorated. (New TVs, up-dated furniture, nice linens, etc.). The lobby was impressive with ample lounging areas. The candles, fireplace, and winter decorations created a welcoming atmosphere. This was the first hotel I've ever stayed in where the guests actually lounged in the lobby with cups of cocoa, books and newspapers like you see in movies. The place was so comfortable, there was no rush to get up to one's room or rush to the sightseeing. I will always try to book there again whenever I'm in Flagstaff.

Staff was nice. The full breakfast buffet that could be purchased was excellent. Room was clean. I would stay at this establishment again.

We stayed for 4 nights. Our room was on first floor, well maintained. Staff are helpful . Wifi connectivity was great ! Location is great , close to downtown . I did not use the gym so cannot comment about it.

It was pouring when we arrived at front entrance and we couldn't pull our car up to the covered entrance as there was a bus blocking. When I got to the front desk, the power went out(not their fault) but no backup so took forever to check in. Our TV didn't work for most of the weekend. We were on the first floor and the pounding of footsteps above was often and annoying

Sushi was good, staff was friendly, credit card system was not working

The lobby was pretty and well decorated for the holidays but the rooms were just average. I ordered room service that did not get delivered. When I called I was told they lost my order. They did make up for it by giving me the food for free but it was 2 hours after I was hoping to eat. There was only lukewarm water in the morning when I took my shower around 7am.

First off, the hotel could not be found with GPS. The reservation was booked well in advance and upon arrival I was told the only room left was first floor right behind the check in desk. No view, and this is not a cheap hotel. The room was very small, mold along the seams in the bathroom and appeared to be mold in some spots on the ceiling in room. We ordered breakfast for the next day, the food was late, cold and they did not bring the correct juice, which was clearly marked. I normally do not write reviews after my stays but this hotel was a major disappointment.

Poor front desk. Gym poor. Lounge very comfortable shuttle service staff excellent. Good location. Manager compensated me for some issues.

Front desk staff was a bit below par. They never explained to me where my room was, I wandered around a bit until I realized it was in another building connected to the hotel. Also when I asked somebody a question they always had to ask another person in the back. Room service was late when I ordered in, This is a pet friendly hotel and had a dog barking most of the night on my last day, Gym could be a little better. Bartender Dave was a riot and quite entertaining and helpful. Shuttle service was very accommodating. All in all it was not a horrible experience but they have some improvements to make.

At check-in we were told the room we reserved two months ago was not available. They offered us a different style room but couldn't discount it because we booked through this website. The property is in need of updating and it seemed they were doing some work on it.

We checked in late at night and was greeted very promptly. Hotel room was clean and real cozy. The bed was a little too hard for us though.

We....I and family went to grand canyon.az on the way we planned to stay in flagstaff. AZ we picked double tree because we like the Hiltons brand...This property was very nice. The room was very clean and had plenty of room for us all. The staff was friendly and very helpful. . We would come back and recommend staying here

We do appreciate the feedback, but please note that during the winter and early spring months, our outdoor pool and hot tub are closed. Once the weather warms, we clean and open the outdoor facilities for our guests to enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry for the confusion, as the rope bridge seen is at Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Park nearby.

Please accept our apologies that you did not fully enjoy your stay. You are correct that there are many choices in Flagstaff, but please note that across all hotels it is standard operations to authorize the card upon arrival to verify validity. Upon check-out the actual charge is posted We hope this clarifies your concern whether you choose to stay with us or another area hotel on your next visit.

a nice, modern, full-sized, comfortable and well-run hotel.
