I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s gotten more dilapidated each time. First room I was given the a/c didn’t work. Was given another room after waiting at front desk for 10 minutes for the only clerk to check-in another guest. Nothing in the fitness center worked. Compared to the other hotels here, probably the least appealing. On the good side, it was acceptably clean and the Internet was decent. Breakfast was okay.
Booked hotel because they s aid they are pet friendly. Booked a stay of at least 10 days for business. When we went to check in they informed us we would have to pay an extra $1000 for our 2 dogs, this fee was more than the base room fee. They claimed that fee was disclosed on their website so I went and checked. All it says is that there may be a charge for pets. So if you want your pet to stay with you, avoid this hotel!
I have stayed at the comfort suites once before for a quick overnight and was pleased. This time I needed to stay for several days. I booked my room on hotwire at a discounted rate because they charge a huge pet cleaning fee, so I wanted to save a little money to stay in a more upscale place since I would be staying a while. Check in was good. I was charged a $200 + tax cleaning fee. $25 per pet per night. The room was large and roomy. That's where the good ends. The bedspread had black dog hair all over it as well as the couch. I took the spread and the lint roller paper from cleaning the couch to the front desk and ask what the $200 was for if not for cleaning which they obviously don't do. She said "that's for when you leave", I told her clearly they don't clean once a pet leaves. She turned around got me a new bedspread, handed it to me across the counter and said "here you go". I travel with lysol and paper towels just because it's what I do and sanitized the room. The bathroom counter had not been cleaned and the faucet had toothpaste on it. Yellow dried liquid in the drawers of the cabinet in the room. Gross. I had no choice but to stay because I had prepaid and would not be refunded... otherwise I would have left and gone someplace else. My door lock was not working properly the second day. The handyman came and says to me "yeah, we started having a problem with this lock a couple of days ago" I ask him why it's not fixed yet, "Oh I haven't had a chance to get to the hardware store. I also had a screen on my window that was pried off and bent. He said he would fix that also. Didn't happen until the next day after I had a fit with the girl at the front desk. She was new on shift, lovely, lovely woman and when I asked her what was going on with my screen and lock and she had no idea what I was talking about. She came to my room to inspect. She said there were screens on the premises and didn't know why he didn't know or fix it or even ask someone. It got fixed at 8 a.m. the next morning. Nice wake up call. OY! She also told me we were operating the door handle wrong which was the problem with the door. Handyman needs to be given a training book. And the locks need to be put on correctly rather than upside down. Breakfast was okay. But if you want anything you have to go out the side door by the pool to find the attendant and that goes for the housekeeping staff as well. The second morning I went out the side door by the pool to the grassy area for my dog and I hit a housekeeper (one of four our there at the time)when I opened the door. The girl looked at me as if I had done something horrible to her. You have to breath smoke at all entrances of this hotel. When I was in the hallways and saw a housekeeper in the room, she was on her cell phone or talking with another housekeeper. I asked for the manager Ken every day, but "oh he's out" or "he's at another property". The last day I was there they were out of creamer for coffee, couldn't find the breakfast attendant so I asked the guy at the front desk for creamer. "oh yeah, we ran out". There is a shop 50 yards away from the hotel. Are they really that lazy? Cigarette butts all over the place most of which are from the staff. They flick them everywhere. They have no cigarette extinguisher receptacles anyplace and garbage cans stay full for a couple of days at a time. The garbage can by the pool was turned over and gross for the entire stay. I won't be staying here again unless they up their standards. It took me nine days to finally get the elusive Ken on the phone and he refunded a little less than half of the crazy, useless cleaning fee. Cleaning fees are for lint rollers, and special cleaning after pets leave which they don't do. Lazy lazy staff. It's a real shame.
Making the reservation was a little bit of a thorn, since it was direct billing and I have to make it in person was told that I couldn't do it over the phone. After I made it, the lady didn't offer to go ahead and let me check in, so I have to go and waste two hours. Check in was easy, and the other lady was friendly. Even apologized for me having to leave and come back. Room was spacious as well as clean. No odor from the a/c unit Bathroom was HUGE, plenty of space for me to turn around in.The shower pressure stayed consistent and hot. The area was quiet, and the bed and pillows were divine. Check out was easy and quick and the man was very nice, even though I was checking out at 440 am. Restaurants are all around this place, and even a semi mall is a few miles away. Even though I had the problem making the reservation, I would still come back to this hotel.
Very nice suite hotel. Large, clean rooms...comfortable beds. Spacious, clean bathroom with lots of counter space. Very nice breakfast area with lots of good, fresh choices. Lady attendant there very nice.
We stayed here on our way back home; lucked out big time! Great hotel ; great price! Very nice and cozy rooms ; with comfortable sitting area ; fridge; microwave etc; Excellent service and great breakfast !
Great staff, nice lobby, spacious rooms with all of the Comforts of the Comfort Suites chain. For us road warriors,it’s always nice to come”home”. There are several restaurant choices with a few in walking distance. I recommend The Old Mexican Cantina.
We would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good. We stayed overnight on our way to Gatlinburg. It was easy access from the interstate and very close to restaurants.

Customer Service: 5/5 Awesome welcome from the night clerk; very friendly and went over all important details of the property. Appearance: 4/5 Large and open lobby space with comfortable seating around a large flat screen expanding into the dining area. There were a few wall scratches in the common areas but nothing outrageous. My two queen bdr. presented well -- innocuous earth-toned walls and curtains. There were a few noticeable beverage drips on one wall, but otherwise the room was undamaged. The carpeting was unstained and relatively new. Utilities, Access, Noise: 5/5 Pro: • Quality flatscreen TV • Working wifi with good signal • Good lighting in room and hallways • Plenty of accessible outlets, including USB ports on the desk • Responsive AC • Elevator • Good parking near hotel entrance • No noise bleed from other rooms or from outside Con: • Nothing I noticed Sleep Quality: 3.5/5 I’m marking down a bit here because I have higher expectations for Comfort Suites, which along with Comfort Inns, typically provide the comfiest mattresses in this class of Choice Hotels. This mattress was softer than medium firm. I slept but it wasn’t the amazing night’s sleep I have had at other CS locations. Very clean and soft bedding. Bath: 3/5 The all-inclusive vanity/shower space has a large mirror and great counter space for multiple guests, with good light. Unfortunately, it hadn’t been well-maintained. There were smudges in the tub, peeling wallpaper above the shower walls, and weak water pressure from the sink and shower head. Extras: 3.5/5 The typical amenities: a pool, fitness room, and a better than average breakfast. There are quite a few fast food and sit-down places in area. Value: 5/5 I paid $84 plus tax on a Sunday night. A great deal for a Comfort Suites in good condition. TOTAL: 29/35 MY GRADE: B (It doesn’t meet the CS brand’s high standard for sleep quality, but it was more than satisfactory for the price I paid)
We only stayed one night traveling through. Beds are comfortable. Everything was clean. Check in smooth. Breakfast average at best but will sustain. I would stay here again. Definitely worth your money.
