Not bad for a business trip

Property is being refreshed currently rooms are in great condition and clean. Front desk staff is very helpful. My only complaint is the Restaurant / coffee bar is hardly open but the hours on the website lead you to believe its open all day.

Property was nice and clean. I had a reservation for 2 double rooms a d due to a family emergency, half the people didn’t come. Because i booked through expedia i couldn't cancel. So i tried to modify to a king bed and adjoining double and they wouldn't.

Poor Service gets poor rating

There was a dispute between the check-in clerk and a customer. The customer was obviously distressed. She was crying about a billing error. The manager and clerk were both dismissive and abrupt with her. I did not know the reason but the manager should have taken the customer to a private area. It was quite uncomfortable standing there was the lady proceeded to cry and cry.

They were doing a remodel, exposed my email address with other guests on an email blast, had workers banging up until 7pm, started at 8am. Staff couldn't care less about the horrible experience.

The property was undergoing renovations which is totally fine as the manager reached out to us prior to our stay to alert us. What was disappointing was the cleanliness of the area. There were used medical gloves outside our hotel room door for the duration of our stay, the furniture in our room was stained, the sink would not drain, there was water leaking from the ceiling, on & on. All of that said, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning is not great. It had cool air coming out of it but didn’t keep the room cool. When we got off the elevator, the whole upper floor was hot. Linen and pillows for the sofa bed had a weird smell. I think it took on the scent of the plastic bag that it is kept in. Maybe it had not been changed out in a while…
