Think twice

The room stank of stale smoke.... there was no COLD water. Had to brush my teeth with hot water. Refrigerator did not work and to top it off it was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!

The room was nasty and it was supposed to be a non smoking room and when you walked through the door it rank of smoke we could not stay and when told the front desk of it and it said on line non smoking room. She said we don't have any non smoking rooms so they need to take that off there website but she did refund our money.

Great for the Rate

Wasn't the newest, cleanest place but it was excellent for the cost. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The only major complaint was the amount of flies in the room--crazy weird. It was probably a time of year and region of Alabama thing. It was bad but I'm not sure what could've been done anyway. I wouldn't have wanted to see a bunch of fly strips in the room either.

Great place to sleep.

McCaig Motel was a great place to sleep in the rate was not bad… Rate could be a little bit cheaper to line up with the overall value. I would consider staying there again.
