Very nice Inn, feels like a home or a chalet. Our room was comfortable, atmospheric, and large. The description on orbitz.com said that breakfast is included, but when we arrived we found out that there is no breakfast served (because of covid). Now that California is opened, they probably could offer it, or at least inform customers that the breakfast is not part of the deal, since we paid for it in the room price, or at least chose this over other less expensive hotels that also don't serve breakfast.

All good. Gabrielle was so very helpful!!! Great location, quiet, clean .

When we arrived, the registration was friendly and easy. We stayed in the "family" room with 6 people. It was decorated nicely and felt very "homey". We were able to pre-order our breakfast and it was there for us when we went down in the morning. The staff person in the morning was a lovely lady with a little baby and my kids were in heaven seeing the baby. Check out was quick and easy! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Fort Bragg!

When we arrived the host showed us to our room which was beautiful. Unfortunately, the host returned within a couple minutes to say a mistake had been made. Our room was on the first floor. The room we were shown was dark, dusty, poorly lighted and had several major flaws including: 1) The door to the bathroom did not work properly. My wife ended up getting locked in the room because the door knob would not unlatch the door. 2) The room was furnished a multiple small lamps, liners in the lamp shades for two of the lamps were torn from age. 3) I was worried for our safety because the room was outfitted with extension cords and a power strip in order to provide power for the lamps. 4) The room was furnished with a smaller, tube-based television. I thought all but the most rustic fishing lodges were furnished with flat screen televisions. 5) The continental breakfast is limited to a choice of two slices of bread OR a bowl of oatmeal Or a single muffin ... Why bother if a guest is limited to two slices of bread. 6) The dark plywood paneled walls and ceiling were poorly stained for a finish. I got the impression the room was a work in progress, but rented out to increase revenue without regard to customer satisfaction.

This gorgeous turn-of-the-century Craftsman mansion is a lovely way to spend time in Ft. Bragg. Our room was big (three beds), very light and breezy. Be aware that it is a house and as such it is not sound-proofed the way a hotel would be. It was very, very quiet when we were there on a weeknight, but we definitely felt that we needed to be as quiet as possible to respect the other guests. Breakfast was simple and easy; guests wash, dry, and put away their dishes (which was a great experience for the kids). Location-wise, it's on a nice quiet street, about a 10-15 minute walk to Sea Glass Beach, or a super-easy two-minute drive (and beach parking is plentiful).
