We had two rooms here, both king suites. The first was on the 1st floor, the second on 5th floor. The first floor room had no closet or place to hang clothes. Its proximity to the church service made it unbearably loud Sunday morning. We used the fold-out bed. The sheets were ill-fitting and bed was not made. There was no outlet for the coffee maker where it was positioned; the only suitable outlet was in the bathroom. Only two glasses were provided for what was touted as a 4 person room. We ended up having a portable clothes rack wheeled in. We were able to move to the 5th floor after I commented re the church service. The 5th floor room also had no closet or place to hang clothes. I brought the portable unit up from the 1st floor. The water pressure at the bathroom sink was very weak. The bedside lights were plugged in but not operational. The thermostats were present but not connected to the ventilation units. Again, the pull out bed was not made and the bedding was ill-fitting. I’ve stayed at many Courtyard hotels. The lobby at this location was very nice and staff did what they could to address the room flaws, but overall I found the rooms to be sub-par at best, disappointing for what I’ve come to expect. Finally, I was surprised there was a daily charge for parking - $10. Perhaps proximity to Six Flags is some justification, but there were many empty spots. Desk staff waived this fee for me to help address some of the room issues.

The hotel was understaffed the three days of my stay. Check in times took a large amount of time due to lack of staffing at the front desk. Dinning experience, while the only person that was serving food and alcohol, was a very pleasant person. He was the only one staffing the bistro at a time which created a long delays of service. This also was a reoccurrence for breakfast time as well. There was one person staff in the bistro. Maintenance needs to be addressed. Elevator feels very unsafe as it makes very odd sounds as a transitions from floor to floor, creating a nervousness within the customer base. While the rooms are excellent, it can’t be frustrating to find out that the USB ports on the nightstand were not functional. Turn down service is limited as my two nights stay did not get turned down and I had to reuse a lot of the towels that were provided. Rooms have poor sound insulation in them. I can clearly hear conversations not only from the hallway but rooms on each side of my room. The doors slam incredibly loud throughout the entire floor and you can hear every person leaving and entering each hotel room. There was an event where people were doing burnouts in the parking lot in incredibly early hours of the night, waking people up. This was a reoccurrence both nights

Great staff. Horrific pool, filthy, old, cracked. No jacuzzi. Way overpriced food and drinks. Surrounded by construction, only entrance on the side. Woke up one morning and found my truck parked next to a homeless person’s car, person just sleeping in it.

Was there for a visit to six flags, it’s a five minute or so walking distance. They checked us in early and that was great. Person at lobby was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Only downside is not having restaurants within walking distance. They are doing construction in the road so that was inconvenient but once fixed I’m sure it will be fine. Room was great no issues.
