This tiny house was unbelievable! Every possible thing you could need was there, it was super comfortable, very clean and extremely organized. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the location was perfect, just down the street from the beach. Coffee, bikes, beach towels, even a putting green! I would 100% stay here for my next trip to Encinitas. 5 plus plus stars.

It is obvious that this tiny home was a labor of love for these delightful owners! Every last inch has been meticulously planned to ensure guests enjoy their experience, from thoughtful additions like a white noise machine to whimsical decor that had us smiling with each discovery, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Such a lovely and amazing property! The tiny house hs everything you could need and the yard is just so nice to relax in. Walking distance to all of the downtown restaurants and the beach. Highly recommend for a getaway to one of San Diego’s nicest beach towns.

Check in procedure was simple, this facility has a full kitchen that is well stocked with equipment. It has a full sized refrigerator and beautiful grounds, the outdoor seating area has a gas fireplace and beautiful lighting at night. Very private tiny house in a great location.

Adorable, walkable tiny home

Loved the tiny home! Despite smaller size it was very well stocked and clean. Really had no issues at all. The outside patio area was private, cute and clean. Also was walkable to restaurants and bars, and even the beach. There’s a cute park nearby as well.

Read the fine print!

Overall, nice place. We were excited to stay there. My family and I were asked to leave the property when the owners learned we had our children with us. I have seen Adults Only resorts advertised on vrbo and it's usually one of the main and repeated comments in the rental description, but I have never seen a house say no children. You will see a section with "Top family friendly amenities" (toys/games) but no where in the description did it mention children. If you dig deeper, one of the bullet points in the fine print says "adults only" and no "visiting" children, but that is it. We had to pack up and find a hotel. I wish the policy was more clearly stated in the description to avoid the hassle we experienced. We stayed one night - host kept 2/3 of payment.

Welcoming and walkable!

Thoughtfully appointed and comfortable tiny home, with very detailed welcome binder. Short walk through lovely park to beach and Encinitas Main Street. Many options for food and quick access to I-5. Highly recommend!!!!

Best Vrbo/rental we've ever stayed at!

Such a great stay! The hosts down to each granular detail had such intention and heart. My boyfriend and I wanted to do a local vacation for his birthday and this property was beyond expectation. Close to the strip, grocery stores, parks, beaches, surf spots just a great stay-in place with a covered fire pit. It rained while we were there sadly but it was such a perfect and cozy spot even on the rainy days. So grateful for the hosts - thank you so much! God bless!

Lovely place

Marianne and Doug’s tiny home is simply lovely. Although it is a tiny home, it feels spacious as everything is so well thought out. It has everything you might need and more. Everything was clean and in like new condition both outside and in. Although we did not get a chance to meet Marianne or Doug, communication was always prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend their place to anyone looking for a great spot within walking distance of Encinitas town centre and the beach!

Incredible time in the tiny house

We had such a good stay at the tiny house! Cozy, comfortable, and extremely cute. Everything in the place is well thought out, practical, and charming. The outdoor setup is great too. Hosts were super welcoming and responded quickly to questions. Loved the location, right near downtown, the beach, and lots of conveniences. If you think the listing looks good - it's even better!

Wonderful!

Had a wonderful experience staying at this tiny house. The thoughtful details with decorating and functionality were so appreciated. All the essentials were there! The binder full of recommendations by the hosts became my bible for my short stay. The location was superb, walkable to most everything in downtown Encinitas including moonlight beach. I didn’t want to leave! Marianne and Doug were a pleasure to correspond with and meet. Would absolutely stay here again!

Hidden Gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This "tiny" home offered plenty and then some! The indoor space was pristine and cozy, complemented by a beautiful and spacious outdoor retreat. We also appreciated the decor with thoughtful pieces spread throughout the property. To top it off, the owners (Marianne & Doug) were friendly, responsive, and easy-going. Without a doubt, would stay here again!

Perfect Little House!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. We especially enjoyed the outdoor dining area and fire pit with comfortable rocking lounge chairs. We even tried a few puts on the putting green! the property was immaculate and they thought of everything. Even the ironing board and iron were conveniently stored behind the bathroom mirror. Great lighting all around the paths and property so it was easy to spend a lot of time outdoors. Bed was very comfortable, great and plentiful towels and the location cant be beat! Check out Moonlight beach (the host provides beach towels, cooler, chairs and umbrella)!
