Would definitely stay again. Only criticism is cleaners does not stock up coffee station and if you get noisy neighbours, you can definitely hear them in the hallway! Staff is great and get free drink daily at restuarant 5-6pm.

Recently stayed at Hotel Matrix and unfortunately, my experience was not up to expectations. Upon arrival, there was no one available at the reception desk, and we had to wait for a considerable amount of time before being attended to. When we finally got to our room, we found that it was not clean. The bedsheet was dirty, and the bathtub in the washroom was also not cleaned properly. This was quite disappointing and not what I expected from a hotel of your reputation. I hope that these issues can be addressed promptly to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Wasnt what i exspected seen the awesome reviews online an decided to spent my wedding night there (2 nights) and wasnt at all impressed.. we had bugs (black Beatles) in our towels for 2 days in a row the outside is kinda sketchy with some people walking around at night .. didnt realize you had to pay for the breakfest in the mornings (18 per person) woth thay said we were gifted our 1st breakfest payed for the 2nd for me an my wife ..staff were nice and cleaning girls were friendly .. but for getting one of there best rooms on the top floor .. i honestly felt like staying at a lower end hotel with free breakfast and maybe a pool would of been way better .. but it was an experience to say the least lol

Very friendly and helpful staff, there was no water available in the room and the ad said free breakfast but there wasn't a free breakfast I would stay here again for the location and friendly staff, rooms could be nicer and the carpets needed to be changed in the room I was in on the 11th floor

Great, clean hotel. Awesome rooms. Kind of annoying you have to pay 12$ to add Netflix on TV and have to pay for breakfast even though you’re paying 200$ a night. Other than that we had a fantastic time!

The Matrix Hotel is in a very convenient downtown location, which is only a 15-20 minute walk away from Rogers Place. There are many restaurants in the area and a Starbucks attached to the building. The breakfast buffet was not included in our stay, but we did eat there most mornings anyway and found it to be good quality. There were a variety of hot options as well as pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. We stayed in the Platinum Suite, which has a small sitting area, wet bar with mini fridge and microwave, separate bedroom and a lovely jetted tub and separate walk-in shower. While we were staying there, it was fairly quiet. The room we were staying in was overall clean and comfortable, but had some signs of needing a deep cleaning and maintenance (staining on the couches, some minor things to be repaired, etc). The king size bed is a spring mattress and a bit on the firm side, which my husband found uncomfortable. Parking is available on site for $30 a day, which I learned after I received my invoice (which I had to request). I was surprised as I had been informed it was $10 a day when I checked in. Despite some minor flaws, we enjoyed our stay overall and would consider staying again.
