Edmonton is too cold at winter time. Dangerous for drivers from warm countries.

Front desk was very helpful and courteous. Reservations dept. at the hotel screwed up our reservations but the front desk lady on morning duty fixed it. Nice room but very noisy.

The Good News: Competitive pricing, quiet rooms (in our stay), free parking, a good complimentary buffet breakfast. The Bad News: Rooms showing signs of age (headboard detached from bed frame, etc.), room smelt faintly of de-ionized smoke when we first arrived, only a very thin blanket is provided (took two phone calls to get another). The Verdict: Overall decent. No major deal-breakers. Will return if the price remains competitive.

Rooms are older and airconditioner was on full blast and wasnt that hot out but didnt seem to cool the room down and airconditioner was noisy and kept making horrible sounds- fridge was not working but we did not need it so we didnt bother complaining- and I suppose it is my fault but I jumped at this hotel as it was close to our event and later found out - no pool !! no jacuzzi!! that is one of the things I enjoy when away and was just surprised that they did not have one- their breakfast buffet was great! I would still recommmend but depends what you are looking for

the hotel is nice but a little worn , we usually stay in nisku , as it is newer , but it was on opposite side of town but close to Kingsway mall . the breakfast was simple and nice and the people were nice , my daughter slept in one bed and I slept in the other queen ,

No early check in Dirty sheet in the bed Air condition noisy The water drain is so noisy It woke me up 2 times in one night. Elevator dirty Bath room needs re-culk Internet is very slow

Too far away from the Edmonton airport. Needs reno's smells bad sheets felt like plastic! But the staff were trying!

Staff treat you like you owe the something. WIth the exception of one guy the rest of the staff is rude and lazy. It seems that all the staff dont want to work there or have worked there so long they dont care. Also many of the guests look like they just fell off a city bus and this is the first place they stumbled to to sober up. The price wasnt to bad but with bad staff I wouldnt stay ever again.

Hotel was good and services offered were a good value for your money but the front desk staff need some definite customer service training and this includes the management. Staff was condescending; accusatory and not at all customer focused. They made a check in error and blamed it on us and then when they realized they made a mistake they blamed it on their computer system. No apology or restitution for all the inconvenience and accusatory attitude. They simply said next time you book with a 3rd party you should know that we dont get all the information passed to our computers so it is the customer's responsibility to inform the staff of all information they enter on the system. I would not recommend this hotel as this experience was demeaning and made us feel like we did something wrong even though we did nothing wrong.

had a good time room was big but needs more things in it the buffle was good over a good still

We were in town for the CGTA show & moved to this hotel from our original lodging choice and were so glad we did. This was so much better. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff!

Stayed there because this is where the wedding we were attending was hosted. All was well including the buffet breakfast, comfortable, clean room and plenty of free parking. The facility seemed to accommodate the wedding perfect. Although the hotel is located right beside a downtown airport which does not seem to be used much, there was no concern about noise.

The Ramada Hotel on Kingsway is a old hotel and it shows in the rooms, they are small and outdated. Half of the rooms are closed for renovations. The staff was very nice and helpful. Cheers, David.

Well if you are looking for a bargain in the Edmonton area then this is it. The place itself is not bad but the bedroom needs renovation. Its old and the mattress were very uncomfortable. Overall I would not stay here again as its not worth the uncomfortable stay.

Excellent instructions at the check-in desk and relief at being in the hotel's data base after booking on-line with a travel agency. The convenience at being able to park in the back was welcomed. Needed a baggage trolley but couldn't see one anywhere close.

Everything was just average with a distinct lack of amenities. Instead of the personal touch it had vending machines which lacked necessary items needed. The service from the front dest staff ranged from good to bad; inconsistent and frustrating.

It was a toss up...Was I going to put my 2 small dogs in the kennel, again? My husband's death in June had affected us all deeply and I really missed my 2 "girls" when I travel and I end up having to put them in the kennel. So I was so happy to find this location that made it possible for us to spend time together. The staff made us feel welcome and our encounters with them during our stay reflected a truly welcoming attitude towards the three of us!

Given that I was there on business and needed to access the business center, I did not appreciate having a dozen or so teenagers taking up all of the working computers and printers to look at their Facebook or MySpace pages.
