Just needed a room to stay in after doing things in Duluth. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

I went with my son to a two-day Audi club ice driving event on Lake Superior. I'm a widowed mother and like to 'check in' with my kids once in a while. He had made all the arrangements and I had no idea what to expect. Well the morning events were quite interesting and loads of fun, but bitter cold. When we came in at noon to gas up and eat at the local pub called "Gronks", I discovered that the Motel 8 where we were to stay was sandwiched right in between the two! I begged off for the afternoon, checked in, warmed my feet under the covers, discovered very easy internet, loads of TV channels, a hot shower and a friendly lady at the counter who loaned me a corkscrew! It was heavenly. The next morning , we had a nice serve-yourself breakfast which included waffles. I don't know what he paid, but the motel was a very nice place.....

This is our first trip so I have nothing to compare it to. We were warm and dry, so it was good.
My boyfriend and I were celebrating being together for 1 year and wanted to visit Duluth and the area. After getting through the horrific construction (our exit was closed) we found the desk help incredibly friendly and very accomodating. They made suggestions of places to visit and gave amazing directions to help us get around the area. I loved it there and will definitely recomend it.
Great Start breakfast would be better if a hot item such as pancakes or waffles along with another dairy option such as yogurt.
The price and the room was acceptable
