Wait for breakfast 20mins, one Italy waitress kind of rude, until gave her tip, then see her smile.

Great place to stay, check in was easy but my only nock on the place was the service in the restaurant/bar was terribly slow and way over priced..... Other than that our stay was perfect

Over all this hotel is nice but somewhere has got improvement. There are only one restaurant in the hotel but no asian food ordered.

I needed to attend a wedding in a nearby town, and the hotel was perfectly located for my commitments to see family and friends. A very comfortable bed, and a very clean room. I like that there is an option for free parking a block away, so I didn't have to use valet parking with frequent trips in a day.

My first experience at poor maintenance in a Marriott. There were two phones in the room and neither worked, the coffee pot didn't work, etc. The room was nicely decorated but these non-working items spoiled the stay. The lady from room service did come to my door to finish my order when she couldn't phone me. At check-in the woman was snippy about she didn't need my Marriott number as I received no Marriott points as I had booked through Orbitz.

Nice stay but not used to not having carpeting in the room. Hotel has valet parking only and charges guests $23 a night. Questioned this charge and was told it was waived due to purchasing through Orbitz. Received final bill and noticed $69 charged for valet parking. Front desk removed the charges when I presented the bill. Otherwise would have been automatically charged to my credit card.

Hotel was nice. Service was great from staff. Not thrilled about parking situation. If you park on premises you have to pay; there's really no other option, as there's no public parking close by. However, valet services were very prompt and courteous.

I liked the hotels, but dislike 2 things: 1. they do not allow self park, so they tag on $23/per day for valet parking. This is suburbia, there is plenty of parking, let me park my own car and save the money. 2. My room faced the back/side of hotel, so I can hear delivery trucks backing into bay in the middle of the night

Would definitely recommend. Close to quaint downtown area too.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. Although it is centered on business travelers, we found it mostly nice for pleasure. Good amenities, decent restaurant, busy bar, and quite a few social events the weekend we were there. Downside is that it is more than comfortable walking distance to downtown Walnut Creek where restaurants and night life are. We also had a mixup with my elite status and thus were denied the breakfast that we thought would be forthcoming. It is good to note that parking is additional, is valet only, so there is a significant additional room charge.

Was there for a swim meet in Concord. Was very convenient, clean, friendly staff, and clean and comfortable room. Only knock is that there is a $20 mandatory valet charge which seems a bit chintzy though parking is clearly in short supply. And shower head was loose. Other than that was great.

Hotel is convenient, nice and clean, but they don't have self-parking on-site. Valley at almost $20 seems a bit much for a Marriott. Self Parking is supposedly a 1/2 Block away, bit got in too late to go there. Other than that a a bit of freeway moise, a good place to stay

Great hotel in the heart of Walnut Creek. Close to shopping and great dining options. The staff are personable and consumer friendly. The hotel is clean, modern and well-run. The only nit I have is the parking issue--in a setting such as this, valet parking should not be virtualy required.

wonderful service and room...............................

Loved the place, only thing is, my bathroom toilet was on the fritz---every minute or two, it would half-flush. I asked the front desk twice to fix it, and it still was never fixed. Room 234.

This was a perfect place to stay the night before taking the LSAT. Great amenities.

Upon my arrival, the check-in process was easy and everyone at the front desk was friendly. Unfortunately, the room they put me in was noisy and I went down to ask for a switch. They were able to accommodate me and I was perfectly comfortable exempt for the fact that they were doing a major renovation in the lobby and during the day it was very dusty and noisy. They told me it would be finished in the next month or so. Unfortunately, because of the noise, I was not able to invite my guests to the bar or restaurant for lunch.

toilet was not working correctly the first night, but fixed the following day.

We were taking our son to college and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Excellent service. Very comfortable. Appreciated that parking was included.

The location was proximate to Napa County and Sonoma County, where we spent most of our days; Walnut Creek is a charming town and delightful for a weekend stay. One issue: Parking. We chose valet parking (the hotel is very large and busy and there is simply not enough self-parking). The valet option was reasonable and we had prompt and very courteous service, but we would've appreciated the availability of free parking, too. We travel often, throughout the world -- most recently Switzerland and Germany; also, to Pacific Asia area, specifically South Korea(domestically, too, but less often lately). This experience was favorable. Overall, the trip was very enjoyable, but too short. We will probably visit again and would consider this hotel high on our list.
