The bed was really, really comfortable. We slept like a rock.

Traveled all day, checked in at 10:30pm, asked for a quiet room, got a room facing the expressway. We were too exhausted to ask for another room. Needless to say, we didn’t get much rest. In the morning, we were told some staff are ‘new’. Well, if they’re not properly trained, why are they helping customers? Disappointed.

Nice upgraded hotel!! One of my favorites in the Walnut Creek area!

Medium cost hotel with breakfast, a small pool and jacuzzi, beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Convenient to highways, easy access to areas in the bay. BART station and the comfort of a low crime and easy going home town feel.

Our room was on a very loud side of their building. We heard powerwashing,grab pickup, forklift drivers, all at and 5 in the morning every morning for four nights

Due to CAL graduation, Berkeley, CA area hotels were booked or expensive. Holiday Inn Express @ Walnut Creek, CA was available at a reasonable rate. We had booked two rooms. Had made several phone calls before the arrival date requesting the 2 rooms to be close to each other. However, when arrived we were given rooms in two separate wings. Construction of the breakfast area and restroom were underway all through our stay. Staff were courteous and helpful. Free breakfast was decent. Will recommend the hotel.
