Was a pleasant place to stay. Felt safe, Great house keeping staff!! Great Front Desk Staff.
The hotel Nextdoor is more than twice as much. Def a good value to stay here if you are fiscally sensible. Not perfect but clean and comfortable.
I asked my brother and his wife how the room was. They said it was quiet and the bed was ok, They got a good sleep. They did not hear the people next to them leave the next day. Great TV.
The room was comfortable. It did have the necessities and appeared to be clean. No odors, good water pressure, sufficient lighting. Our window faced East, and the drapes did a good job of blocking the sun. Staff was pleasant, and location is easily accessible. Will consider staying again if in the area.
I would stay here again, close to casinos, stores river amd downtown
rooms were ok, staff very helpful and friendly , pretty quiet
The bed was horribly uncomfortable and all of the doors had to be slammed shut to close. The room seemed outdated but clean. It was tolerable for the one night I stayed and there.
Stayed at the hotel to crash before running a race at the Saddle Dam Day Use Area. Free WiFi was invaluable. Hotel was quite busy, seemingly from a bass tournament of some sort. Next-room-over-showers quite loud. Locate close to the highway and near downtown Oroville.
A quiet place to stay in Oroville, on the main street downtown.
Terrific, clean, comfortable, spacious and convenient. The only issue is the Simon & Garfunkle noise problem: "I've been trying to get some sleep, but these motel walls are cheap."
My wife and I needed to stay one night in Oroville. Other reviews indicated America's Best Value Inn was the cheapest place we could have a clean room and good night of sleep. The room was very large, everything was very clean, refrigerator functions. Front desk was courteous, quick, and helpful. This is a no-frills hotel: the "Free Internet" is a terminal in the lobby, not WiFi. There was a iron-burn in the carpet. Free breakfast was cereal or convenience-store pastries. One cool feature: you can access the local 24-hour Anytime Fitness for $5/
My mom and I stayed here for one night. We flew into town for a wedding. The check-in staff (one lady) was very friendly. The rooms were clean, but need to be updated with some paint. Bathroom amenities inlcuded hand soap bar, shampoo (no conditioner) and a bath soap bar. The toilet did not flush, so I had to take the top of the lid off and pull the black thing up so that the water would fill up in order to flush. We called the front desk and the receptionist came over (same check-in lady) within minutes and she checked it and she said she fixed it but if the problem still existed to let them know and they would switch our room. When we got back to the room that night, the problem still existed. We were leaving that morning and I didn't want to bother changing rooms. When I checked out I told the receptionist (a different lady) and she didn't seemed concered or even offer an apology. The room other than that was fine. There was a coffee maker and a microwave. The continental breakfast selection was sad - consisted of dry cereals, bananas, apples and honey buns. We went to a local restaurant for breakfast instead - that was a great decision. See the restaurant recommendation below. I would suggest forking over a little more money (if you can) to stay at the new Holiday Inn, which is right next door.
Within a short walk of Oroville Gymnastics Academy, Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Oroville is within 2 miles (3 km) of Bedrock Park. Each of the 70 rooms at this motel includes a refrigerator, a microwave, and a flat-screen TV.
