A nice clean spacious place with a great private outdoor patio. Pet and pot friendly. The downside is parking. Except for the other side of the street in front of the university, every other street in the area is restricted to permit holders from 8 am to 8 pm. Had no choice but to risk a ticket and park around the corner for a good part of the day. But I got away with it. .

Wonderful Stay

This rental is very clean, well equipped, quiet and secure. We had a wonderful four day stay and thoroughly enjoyed our trip! We were in Chicago for a couple baseball games so we didn’t see much of the nearby area, but the location was fine. We love relaxing in the open living room and peaceful backyard patio.

Great stay

The house is a vibe! Clean and modern updates. It had everything my daughter and I needed. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! It took us some help from the owner to figure out the projector, but she was very responsive and helped us get it going. I also worked from there and had no issues with the Wi-Fi. Good breakfast place within walking distance.

Cute place close to the city

We were in town for the Wright Plus tour and really enjoyed our stay. Both my partner and I work remotely and were able to comfortably work from the rental during the week. The house was very nice with nice neighbors. The only issue we had was the walk in shower is very hard to dry out, even leaving the door open. There was an air purifier/fan in the main bedroom which helped some.

Wonderful Spot

This is a great spot to stay in Chicago! Clean, two bedrooms with their own washrooms. Good location. The living room /kitchen is perfect for hanging out in. And LOVE the projector TV. Enjoyed a movie every night. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Stunning

This house was stunning. I felt safe with my family and loved the space. Super well done and the pics are exactly what you get.While there is a fenced back area, there isnt any grass for pets to potty, only concrete (which confused my pups). You can definitely walk dogs out front but its on a main road.That being said, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home.

Thanksgiving in Chicago

Second time staying at the Riverhouse. Loved it just as much as the first time.The location is terrific...in the city, but plenty of parking. Local mom and pop restaurantaway.walkable.

Family time

Great location for needing to be around the north park area, my grandmother easily maneuvered (87 y/o), and our 4 y/o loved watching TV on the projector. Easy parking, easy access to downtown. If you need to be in the area I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Great Location

This house was just as described. We felt so close to everywhere we needed to go. The neighborhood felt safe and comfortable. We did not have a car but realized you would need good parallel parking skills if you do have car. The house was spacious and the porch was really nice and private. The host was great! I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and Clean

All you need for an extended stay! Kitchen is well equipped with a great bagel toaster to boot! Beds are comfortable and the whole place was clean. Right across the street from NEIU it is a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend staying here for 1 to 4 people!

Tasteful house.

House was clean and in a good condition. Tastefully furnished and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. We missed small pans. The patio, outside table and chairs were not cleaned and therefore it did not invite to be outside. But overall stay was very good.

Beautiful home!!

Very slick and modern home!! The decor was beautiful! Beds were comfy! Kitchen has everything you needed. We loved the area and it was close to everything! The owner was easy to get ahold of and very thorough. We really loved it and would book again. Two small complaints. The media/tv situation in both bedroom and living room was complicated and ridiculous. It took a lot of time to get both to work. Once the projector in living was working, it was really fun but not sure it’s was worth the time it took to get there. The house was immaculate but the outdoor area was a mess and we didnt hang out there because of that. Furniture was dirty and there was lots of debris everywhere from a previous storm. It would have been nice to use because it was super cool! Still, we’d book again.

Modern Getaway Home

This is a single family home in North Chicago. 30 minutes from Ohare Airport. Very clean. Comfortable beds, great kitchen. Lovely patio. The host is very responsive. My only issue was that the only way to watch TV was on a projector by streaming. During daylight, it was difficult to see programs. If the owner adds TVs to LR and bedrooms with necessary apps, it would be perfect.

Great space and safe neighborhood

The property was lovely and the neighborhood felt safe. Great decor and amenities. We recommended checking out Big Hill for dinner/drinks and Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club for brunch. Both places are less than a 5 minute walk away. I wish we could have stayed longer!
