Reliable and convenient location. Parking is tight in the garage for medium SUVs. Rooms and bath starting to show their age. Bulk shampoo and body wash is not my thing and not full.

The hotel and bistro staff were great; very friendly and welcoming. The location near the UVA hospital/medical system was extremely convenient. The hotel was right across the street from the medical building where we needed to be early the morning after our check in.
My wife was having surgery at the UVa hospital, and the staff was caring and always asking how she was progressing. It was sincere and not just making conversation. I was not sure of the exact date she would be discharged but new within a day or two. She was released a day early, and I still had a reservation for another day. They refunded that reservation and gave me time to pack and clear the room. I will definitely be staying there when we go back for a follow up in October.
I've stayed in Charlottesville many times and this hotel is the most convenient for access to the University. It's a great location that is easy to reach. The rooms are well appointed and the hotel has great amenities
Nice, clean hotel. Nice dinner-to-go from the Bistro. Only complaint was having to clean the snow off car because not all of garage is covered.
Stayed here for residency interviews- location was very convenient for walking to interviews, room was quiet and comfortable.
Excellent room, comfy beds, friendly staff... can't beat how nice this place is! (I think $160+ for a Sunday night is a little pricey, but that is my only slight negative). Will stay again!
