A pleasant surprise. Visiting from Australia, I wasn't expecting such a nice hotel, mainlg bdcause of the very reasonable rates, in such a popular area, but everything was perfect - pleasant staff, good size room, great smenitiss snd nice location. Thank you Holly Tree and Orbitz
Thought check in was low point, but check out took the cake! It was late, and I was beat from long drive. Desk clerk couldn't quite figure out which room I was to get. Took him 15 minutes to figure it out along with a bunch of carping. Then the card reader for the $100 deposit (it'll be released when you check out) didn't work. Finally, got my key and went to my room which was sufficient...save the musty smell...probably because it was beside the pool. Up and out early next morning, I asked morning desk clerk to confirm that the $100 deposit was being released. He said it took 5 to 10 business days. The standard procedure. I told him that I'd booked through Orbitz and Holly Tree should advise travelers of that policy on their listing. He replied that it was only his 3rd day, so I suggested he tell management about that policy so guests wouldn't be surprised. He started giving me a hard time that I didn't know what I was talking about. That was it for me. I was out the door. So, in conclusion, the room was fine and there was hot water and a decent bed for the price...and the argument was FREE. Won't go there again.
It was a good clean and comfortable place. Loved the pool and it was close to many attractions. Everyone was friendly guest and staff alike. Not a five star hotel but very reasonably priced and gave us everything we needed. Thanks for helping make a great vacation.
Our stay was nice, however, the bed was tiny. We ended up sleeping on the pullout couch just so we could fit. And what is powdered non dairy creamer? That stuff is not only disgusting in taste, but horrible for your body!! Had to leave the hotel just to get coffee in the morning, very inconvenient.... Absolutely love the racquetball, only place I've ever stayed that offers it. The design of the pool was awesome and WARM, 2 thumbs up for that. All together I give it a 3 out of 5.
