The room is pretty bare. The worst part was there was very little way to adjust the lighting. However, the beds were nice. The room was servicable. Had a fridge. Was perfectly located. Open bar all day. The roof and pool were nice. Staff attentive. Great price. This is a room you use to enjoy the area, not a distination itself. If that's what you are looking for, its great.

Staff and location is the best Property is old need some upgrades!!

the location is very good and its the most economical option in the area

- good hotel but no pool - parking is the worst!!! high chances of hitting your car, as it is very narrow. - have good happy hour (12h long) - bathrooms dont have air suction - bad toilets

Good location

Hotel is run down, looks more like a roadside motel.

A very economical hotel in the middle of it all. Across the street from a bus stop and supermarket made things very convenient. We found 3 restaurants, all within walking distance, that we mainly went to over our 6 nights stay just because we didn't think we could upgrade. For the price, come with a reasonable expectation that you won't get pampered and you will have to ask for new towels as opposed to them being automatically supplied, but small things like that aren't a big deal. Quick call to the front desk made things happen., The staff is great and were very helpful. No language barriers and very easy to communicate. Mario had arranged a cab to pick us up very early in the morning to go to the airport and handled all of the specifics - driver name, taxi #, specific time for pick up, and a phone # to call if needed. Very needed because at 5:20 am, there wasn't any ride service out at that time. Our booking had comp'd drinks and the bar is open pretty much all day. Made things fun but I know I drank too much. Some cons: AC worked great and kept the room cool but had a constant noise. Didn't like the pillows at all. Way too soft. They have bikes for free use but the streets are not very conducive to riding and sharing the road with the many cars and busses. Can't really ride on the sidewalks either because they have pretty large curbs that you would have to hop off and hop back on constantly. btw, $35 to/from the airport is the going rate.

I spend 4 days in Mexico and stayed at 2 other hotels. To many restrictions at this hotel.

The hotel was fine. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The staff is helpful. As long as you keep your expectations reasonable you will enjoy your stay. Pros: 1) Price 2) Open bar daily (only national liquor and not top shelf) 3) Amazing location.. right in the middle of the restaurant and party zone Negatives: 1) My room was not cleaned for the duration of my stay which was 2 nights. They claimed it was "covid" precaution but it seems more of a cost cutting tactic. 2) Hotel could use a renovation 3) Tiny window in room to look out. 4) No direct access to beach 5) No restaurant on premise Please keep #3 in mind since Cancun (as of 6/30/21) closes EVERYTHING at 11pm. Overall a decent place and when you factor in the price it definitely was worth it. I would recommend for short stays or those budget conscious.

Aloft Cancun was nothing like the Aloft brand I am used to. This place was so dirty, I had to change rooms 3 times and finally just moved to another hotel. The staff was nice and friendly so I hated that I needed to leave. I was ok with it being dated and older because rates are low. This was also a great location but the showers were gross. You can hardly breate due to the dust. I took so many pictures. The carpets are filthy and seems like mold was present. I am awaiting a refund 14 bus days for the remaining days of my trip so at least they did not give me a hard time about wanting to leave. Again staff and location was nice. But cleanliness is a priority for me. Not to mention we are still supposed to be taking additional steps for covid prevention. I was not convinced that could happen with the looks of the place you clean yourself.

Location only OK. Lobby rather cold. Few amenities on main floor

The amazing elevator the lights and the music everything is close

Amazing experience Friendly staff, Great location Great party stay

Very efficient and friendly staff, always helpful.
