Nice pool, good food and perfect location .I just love this place.I'd highly recommend this hotel to everybody. You can't bit the price for what you get for your money.I just got back yesterday and I can't wait to go back again. Thanks for everything,I had so much fun here

Got checked into a room that was already taken. The rep that assisted me was a complete jerk. The room are ok, wouldn't dare stay there again, or recommend it to anyone.

it's nice hotel. but when i go there is overbooking. they just call me to other hotel but is same hotel group. but i need to join the tour at the moring so i don't want to go. and finial they give me a room stay in hotel. im in bogota is same overbooking... so u know my feeling....a little bit sad. im so tried. but the hotel is really nice. cost of the value. all day i outside to join the tour 3days. so i can not use the swiming pool . i like this hotel actually.

The only reason this review is without profanity is because it can't be published. We made our reservations to arrive on a late flight. The late arrival was confirmed. Then we show up at the hotel at 1 am to be told they have no reservation for us. If one peruses other reviews it becomes clear that this is a common practice. To strand travelers in a foreign country in the middle of the night is inexcusable. Someone at this establishment in booking should be fired for such actions. We were told by others at other establishments that they do this on purpose and it happens with some frequency. The only reason I give the staff a two star rating is because the desk clerk pointed us to a rather spartan but clean place across the street that we could get some rest at. The Oasis cost us the first day of our vacation because the next day I spent a total of 3 hours on the phone with Orbitz to get it resolved. I certainly have to give the Orbitz people who I worked with kudos for their efforts. They took care of us and we eventually landed where we could finally get our vacation underway. There is nothing "smart" about staying in this pathetic establishment run by a collection of reprobates from the depths of purgatory.

The Smart Oasis provides an extremely convenient and cost-effective location for casual shopping, with close access to several major stores. This allows travelers to purchase goods that one might buy at duty free (such as alcoholic beverages), but at prices considerably below those charged in the Cancun Airport duty free shop.

AC does not work in my room, took me one whole day to get a washcloth to take a shower, warrants in shower shower has no pressure, just an overall terrible experience

Great value for Money, very large rooms, very clean

We stayed 2 nights here before move in to All-inclusive resort in Hotel Zone. For the price ($40/night), it is good. Good location. Secure parking lot. Room has basic amenities. Housekeeping was slow. For 2 nights stay, no bedding change or towel changes. Front desk was good and friendly. Air-conditioning was good but loud. Very close to regular bus station and 1 block away from R1 bus stop to Hotel Zone and 1.2km away from ADO bus station. Santander bank/ATM across the road. Did not use hotel's restaurant so no clue about the quality of food. Overall, for the money, no complaints. Recommended for budget travelers (single, or couples).

I booked my trip to Cancun, and the site I used put me on an island across the water, making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to get to my original 6 a.m. flight because of the ferry schedule. I booked this hotel not knowing much about it, and because I wanted a least a COUPLE of days in ACTUAL Cancun. When I arrived, I didn't wait very long to talk to the front desk person. He gave me my key and directions to my room. which was very easy to find. At first glance, I was blown away at how nice the room looked and comfortable the bed was! (Definitely an upgrade from the hotel on the island!) Because I only had a couple of nights, I wanted to get as much done as possible! They have a VIP desk in one of the two buildings, which is where I met Adriana, who I later learned was the Supervisor of that department. She served as a Concierge and all-around go-to person with any questions or concerns. She was familiar with and had answers to anything I could've asked. Also, because of an issue I had with my initial reservation, I needed to spend an extraordinary amount of time on the phone with both the booking website, as well as the airline. This wasn't a problem and she seemed very happy to help! After I was able to get things ironed out, I decided that I wanted to go to the beach. This hotel has a number of 'sister-hotels' in Cancun, some of them on the beach. Adriana informed me that, as a guest of THIS Oasis, hotel, I was allowed to use the beach club and pools at their other property at no charge until 6 p.m., and if I wanted to pay $36, I could purchase an all-access day pass, which included unlimited food and drinks! (I would've CERTAINLY spent more than this, so not only did I purchase the day pass, I opted to spend a little extra to be able to stay until 9 p.m.. which included dinner, which I would classify as a Brazilian BBQ-style buffet!) Overall, I LOVED this hotel so much that I actually looked online to see if I could stay an extra night! Unfortunately, the only thing they COULDN'T do was magically create another room for me, because they were completely sold out for the following night!

The hotel overbooked...about 10-15 people with paid reservations had to argue with the manager, and poor reception people. After 2 1/2 hours we finally got sent to a nearby hotel, it was way below the standard we wanted and paid for and way below the Oasis Smart hotel. Bad night sleep, never going there!

Had to stay here for one night before beginning my cancun journey and it was perfect. Great location and great value. Def would recommend.
