This is a charming, quirky hotel close to everything in Morro Bay. It's a little worn and dated in spots but immaculately clean everywhere. Our room was spacious, the beds clean, fresh & comfy, and we really appreciated the use of real glasses and ceramic coffee mugs. They have a comp wine & cheese happy hour and breakfast. The staff is always friendly & accomdating. We stayed the night before at the Hampton in SLO and I wished I had booked both nights here. Will always stay here whenever on the Central Coast.

Convenient location in the center of Bishop, near restaurants and within walkable distance to Bishop Ranger Station and well-known Schats Bakery. Room was clean, response was within minutes when I needed assistance with the TV. Free morning breakfast included multiple items, including hot food. Staff was uniformly pleasant. Highly recommend for families or single travelers!

Coming from Yosemite and going to Death Valley, Bishop is a great stop in between. The Comfort Inn was surprisingly good with a very clean and spacious room (2 queen beds, ample space for us 4), a nice small pool with a Jacuzzi and the best motel breakfast we had on our trip from LA through San Francisco to LV. Next door is a great steak house with live music. Absolutely recommendable, great value for money!

It was ok for a night. The room is not new, it as to be change, walls... The room was clean enought, thanks for the lady that did the room, but the room was to old.

Timbered me when I called back. Were very helpful with change in plans

The Comfort Inn, Bishop, CA, is a good choice for a weekend visit to the Bishop area. It is well located on the main street and is close to many conveniences. The staff is friendly and the accommodations are comfortable. Breakfast, which is included in the price of the room, is substantial and good. There is a pool and small Jacuzzi available for guest's use. I didn't use the Wi-Fi but it is included with the room. The price is reasonable and the motel is a good value.

This was our third stay and, Lord willing, not our last. The rooms are basic, no micro or fridge, but the bed is comfy and shower head is great. The breakfast bar is loaded and it is only a two minute walk to Starbucks in one direction or to the world famous Schat's Bakery in the other. Yes, we would recommend the Comfort Inn.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. There are cheaper hotels in Bishop, but this was good for business travel.

A convenient stop over place on the way to Mammoth on Friday night. It saves some night driving!

This location is by far one of the best inexpensive hotels we've stayed at. The staff were really friendly. We stayed on the second floor, and our room was very clean—clean bed (no bugs, I checked), clean sheets, clean linens, clean sink and bathroom—toilet and all, you get it. Only downside are the thin walls. Our neighbor was pretty loud after hours, but we were able to tune them out with the fan. The interior décor was pretty modern. The lamps were cute! I recommend getting rid of the old school curtains, kind of kills the modern look. Oo, and the flat screen was a plus. Highly recommend Comfort Inn if you're staying at Bishop.

This is our second time staying here for a ski trip to Mammoth. And experience was great that's why we keep coming back!

Very comfortable, clean with good breakfast...!! :)

The room is very small with little room to walk. The bathroom is small and dirty with wallpaper peeling and some minor mold. A depressing room! Overpriced for what you get.

Reception staff was OK but a little impersonal. Shower head and tub drain cover need attention. It was a pleasant stay, however, reasonable, excellent location for me and I'd stay there again. Breakfast area was small and overflowing when I was there around 8 am.

Didn't get to the Hotel until about 12am, and was worried about the late check in, but there was an attendant on site. Easy check in, room was clean, and worked out well for an overnight stay while passing through town.

The staff was friendly, the room a bit small, the bed comfortable, the shower head was great. We had an upstairs room toward the back of the hotel and away from the road so it was very quiet. Starbucks is two doors away and Schat's Bakkery only a block in the other direction. We were quite satisfied with our second stay. .

One night stay while travelling. Everything more upscale was booked. Good breakfast.

Didn't notice anything wrong with the hotel or staff, everything was very good. The breakfast was very very good. Will stay here again.

Great location, good amenities and breakfast. Pretty old hotel and pool but staff was very nice and efficient. Right in middle if town, ez walk to everything.

With advanced reservations I was well received and assigned a large two-bed suit! The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, courteous and professional when we checked in the evening of 7/15. The heavy set woman in the morning was not as friendly or professional on the morning of 7/16 and did not print out the statement for the final hotel charges. The room was nice and spacious and things were clean. The only drawback was that the pool was closed for cleaning and the jacuzzi was not heated. The breakfast was decent enough to start the morning on the road again. Overall my friend and I were pleased.
