Needed to stop someplace to sleep along our journey home and didn’t want to spend a fortune on a hotel for less than 8 hrs but you get what you pay for. Bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some weeks, toilet bowl was visibly dirty. Beds were so lumpy and creaky. The AC unit was so loud it made it impossible to sleep the whole night. The only saving grace of this hotel is that the front staff was very nice and helpful.

Nice place

This stay was OK, but that's it. It was a busy week so it was expensive. So I would recommend one stays at a less busy time and you will be happier.

Super Quiet Off the main road. Clean Large 50 inch TV with all the channels you could ask for. Tempur-Pedic bead I slept like a baby. Lots of Pillows. Fluffy Bath Towles. I will be back, Verry Reasonable Rate.

No hot water for shower at 7:00 am. Think this is a regular thing.

dirty dusty, rusty building, bathroom, the structure is old, stayed on the first floor, can't sleep all night because the sound of people walking upstairs is too loud, I'm afraid if the whole building would just crumble on me.

COVID protocols were not being followed or even understood. The room was small and not laid out well. The bed was harder than the floor. The AC unit was barely working in 100 degree heat. The bathroom was a disgusting sauna to use. There was absolutely zero parking. 0/10 would not stay there again.

THEY OFFERED ME A ROOM WITH BREAKFAST AND AT THE TIME TO DO THE CHECK-IN THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE WOULD BE NO BREAKFAST SERVICE DUE TO COV-19. I THINK THEY SHOULD NOT BE OFFERING IT ONLINE. ALSO, THE BATHROOM SHOWER WAS NOT WORKING VERY WELL THERE WAS WATER EVERYWHERE IN THE BATHROOM.

If 10 is the best this property deserves a 3-4! To start off with they charged me nearly $20.00, more that I booked the room with Orbitz at. They refused to refund the difference and I was forced to take up the matter directly with Orbitz. The exterior of the hotel was rundown looking in appearance. Parking was inadequate for the amount of rooms at the property. I had difficulty leaving in the morning. The owner who was also the person who was working the reception refused to remedy the situation even after I showed him my booking email which showed the amount. The room itself was an extremely small room. It was laced with some heavy fragrant smell. The hot water was intermittent and unreliable. The wifi was also spotty and in and out of service. There was a small dried blood mark on one of the bed spreads. Bending over to check under the bed when leaving there was an opened condom wrapper with an unbelievable amount of dust. The base boards also appeared to not have had a cleaning in an unknown amount of time. The AC was an old unit which one had to manually operate. The property only offered breakfast beginning at 7 am. However it is offered in a the very small reception area with only a handful of chairs for the guestsOur overall stay was unpleasant, the owner in our situation appeared to be dishonest, and we will never return. In fact we will never again stay at Americas Best Value Inn.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Carpet very dirty and stained, room marginal cleanliness. Beds comfortable.

The owner was nice, however the room was not the greatest by far. Bed skirt was torn almost completely off (when it's that bad, just take it off!), hard/flat pillows, no hot water in the shower (she did give us a key to shower in another room, however the water in that was just a bit warmer than in our room), 4 different shades of green on the walls (that was kinda funny actually) tile popping up in the bathroom, staples sticking out of the carpet (ouch!)...Honestly it just was not worth the price we paid and would not stay there again.

Relative to the cost of rooms at more well-located motels in Bishop, there was the potential for good value by staying at this motel. However, the very spotty free Wi-Fi coverage was a significant annoyance for me, as I had hoped to use it to tackle several business and personal tasks during the evening I stayed here.

The first night we were put in a VERY small, VERY dirty room. VERY DIRTY. We were moved the second night due to the jacuzzi tub spraying water everywhere and flooding the room. The second room was huge improvement. Looked renovated, and clean. Staff was very friendly and motel is in a quiet location. Pool did not look inviting at all.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast room is the office and very tight. Good value for the location.

This place was just gross. The room was old, musty and out-dated. The bed was uncomfortable and felt similar to a hospital bed. The bathroom was nice and big, but the walls were dirty. We woke up at 7am just to get out of there. We found a nice, family owned hotel called Town House Hotel, which we recommend!

We could not get a motel in Mammoth Lakes, so we selected this. It was cheapest at the time of booking. The motel is clean, 2 queen beds, but has small rooms, old beds and a TV with handful channels. It also has a microwave and a mini fridge but only one extra electric socket. It is located away just a block away from main street which is far from street noise but close to amenities. Good motel for couples. Not really suitable for family with kids. Needs decent continental breakfast.

we liked Bishop, although the little towns south of Bishop are much preferable, Quaint , quiet ,cute. Some of the nicer hotels there probably would have made our stay enjoyable. its an o.k. town, but touristy. The hotel was overpriced. We ate at the more americanized mexican restaraunt on the corner. not impressed . I hear there are good restaraunts there if you research it.

Friendly staff compensated for appearance. Room, though old, was clean. Being off the main road provided quiet.

The curtains and bedspread were old and worn. The room smelled of strong cleaning products. The outside was rundown and the pool was covered with a tarp and paint cans.

Thank you for your feedback. Please know that we have had to suspend our usual breakfast options so that we could ensure we are providing a safe environment for our guests and personnel. In the future, please do not hesitate to share any concerns with our staff, as we are always willing to lend a hand. Maintenance is looking into the issue with the bathroom, and we hope for another chance to impress you on the road ahead.

The satisfaction of every guest is always our primary concern, so it's saddening to hear we fell short of our standards during your recent visit. It's unfortunate to learn that our accommodations didn't fully meet your expectations. Unfortunately, we have limited control over reservations made through third-party booking sites and cannot provide refunds. However, we will discuss this with the team to have better communication. Your valuable feedback is much appreciated and has been passed along so the issues can be properly addressed, including housekeeping and maintenance. We'll also consider your comments on our parking space and rooms moving forward as we consider guest feedback vital in our mission to consistently provide the best accommodations. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
