I would not come back to this place again. My room was not clear, smelled and there was anything in the room. There was no toilet paper, no paper towel and no tissue paper. Also the refrigerator was leaking water.
Staying at this hotel was just... blah. The front desk staff, when they decided to be at the front desk, was not helpful. On my first of three nights there, I had asked if I could have one more pillow for my room, which by the end of my stay, was never provided. Also, there were only two full-sized bath towels in the bathroom but zero washcloths or anything else to use.
Coffee breakfast area was filthy. Trash overflowing, used coffee cups everywhere. Convenient to everything but not worth it. Pay a little more and stay at a nice hotel. Room was clean and comfortable however.
The front desk staff is tremendous. Curtis, Dwight, Chris, LaTonya, and all the rest of the staff are great! Whenever I needed a dish, pillow, tea, coffee or anything else, they helped me right away, and were so friendly. Our room was very nice. I liked the big workspace. The common area room by the lobby was nice too. I am on the road a lot, this's hotel is in the top 5% of hotels that I have stayed at in the last year.
The hotel common areas and rooms were in poor condition (worn carpet, ripped upholstery, poorly made repairs/painting) and unclean (elevator and hallway floors were dirty and not vacuumed during our 4-day stay; crumbs and dust inside cabinets and drawers in room; carpeting in room old and stained; mattress covers were ripped). The management of the front desk was very bad. Most of the staff was unfriendly and inattentive; a few others were just strange. I was unable to check out because the front desk was left unattended for >15 minute period at 10am. When I used the phone to dial '0' for service, it rang at the unattended front desk, which actually would have been funny had I not already been 10 min late leaving for my appointment. Also, there was loud music until midnight in the 3 rooms around us, and many people left their doors open while cooking, contributing to a very strong and unpleasant mix of smells in the hallways and our room. In terms of broader non-site specific items, the advertising for Extended Stay is very misleading. For example, passing the single pot of coffee (no cream) and handful of packaged muffins off as 'continental breakfast' is wrong; and even calling this establishment a 'hotel' is questionable considering the lack of daily maid services and other typical amenities. In essence, this is a not-so-very-nice short-term apartment complex.
If anyon is planning on staying in the hotel, I would stop it. They were very unfriendly at the front when checking in. I opened the hotel room and walked in which is full of garbage smell because the trash cans were not empty. While I was complaining at the front, I heard the manager saying "hey just apologize" from inside. While preparing supper, I found no kitchenware was ready under the counter. The guy at the front put a huge heavy plastic box upon me which is full of kitchenware. I was too tired to complain again and brought it to the room by myself. At night I found that no blankets, pillows were ready for the sofa bed. I told him that I had additionally paid for the sofa bed for extra. The staff was almost yelling upon my complaints to be quiet and wait. 20min later wet blankets were delivered to the room. It was a nightmare staying in their facility. When returned to the room next day, the room was not serviced at all. And more... I forgot. I believe the staffs are not fairly paid....who knows?
I would like to take time to send a big thank you to the hotel staff at this location as they made my stay such a wonderful experience. I recently came to the area and stayed at this location from Feb to April and I can tell you it was totally worth it. The front desk was always welcoming and provided me with tips on places to go and things to do on my days off. I will be recommending this location to all people that need a place to go for a long term stay oh and did I mention that it has a FULL KITCHEN!!
This was a nice visit. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Need to be updated. Need a better breakfast for 2 1/2 Stars. Try Sleep Inn they have a complete breakfast, Plenty of towels and wonderful Staff. I's a 2 star/ More bang for the buck!!!
The staff is incredibly helpful. Proving customer service is not dead. Good value for the money. While lacking in some areas, the staff tries very hard to make up for it with excellent customer service.. If you need anything in your room just ask and they handle it!
I am presently staying at an extended stay in Rockville, md waiting for dental work to be done before I move to florida. it all depends on the manager. I got along fine with the last one but she left and now an incompetent is on the job. he was at a previous extended stay that I stayed at; they just transfer people. He doesn't get back to you. The rooms are cleaned but very few of the maids are capable I am riding it out until I move but sick of all that takes place. No call backs, lies, everything in the book. Urine stained carpets in the hallways, etc. don't get me wrong there are many good employees.
