Club Quarters Hotel in Washington DC

Nice Hotel for Cost & Location

This is a great option if you want to stay in the heart of Washington D.C. in a nice hotel. The woman who greeted me was super nice and accommodating. Just be aware if you arrive early (or from what I’ve seen in other reviews - checking out late), while most hotels give you the courtesy, this chain will charge you an extra $50. I arrived early in the city was charged the fee, however she upgraded my room and put me on a high floor so it balanced out anyway. The room was nice. Many complain it’s small, but this is not unusual for larger cities. I found the size fine. Nice TV where you can pair your phone. Keriug machine. No mini fridge or microwave in the room. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest I’ve seen, but not particularly dirty. I found the blanket to be thin, but there’s an extra in the closet. My only gripe is it’s in a plastic bag, so I question how often they switch it out, but I never asked either. Breakfast is no frills with a lounge area that offers a coffee machine, a bowl of fruit and Chewy bars. Upon checkout, did have an encounter with a really off-putting, snarky male at the desk. Didn’t seem he wanted to be bothered - was going through the motions of the job. Lacked real warmth toward guests - and fellow employees - unlike the initial woman who checked me in. If on a budget, I would recommend!

Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill

Perfect location to explore Washington DC

We are about location, location, and location. We needed an inexpensive, clean, and quiet hotel located walking distance from all the major things we wanted to see in DC, and that is exactly what we got with this hotel.
