Check in was quick and pleasant. It is an older hotel without any frills or whistles. Comfortable beds and clean room and bathroom. Although parking was cramped and required skilled maneuvering, it was onsite and reasonable. The onsite restaurant and bar was a plus. They served breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The service and food were very good! We had 2 dinners there and especially recommend the veal parmesan, the tour of Italy and the filet mignon. The Italian lemon cake was a light and decadent dessert that we enjoyed! Throughout our visit the staff was most accommodating. Know that currently, the rooms are only cleaned every other day. While this is not an upscale hotel, it is in a safe, residential area close to shops and restaurants. We were comfortable and it met our needs for our 4 night stay.

We prepaid for 3 nights. Sadly we had bites from bed bugs all over and decided to check out after 2 nights. We were also forced to pay $35 for parking per night even if our vehicle was too large for the garage and we parked on the street.

Great location, especially for our needs. Beds were comfy and the view of treetops out our window was nice. Biggest issue for us was the lack of in-room or lobby coffee - having to walk across the parking lot in the rain for $3 cuppas to go on the adjacent deck was not the way we wish to start our morning. At this point (June 2021) I also think not servicing the rooms daily "due to Covid" is simply an excuse to cheap out on service.

I would definitely stay there again. It was close to everything in NW. The staff was the best

It is close to my destination. But stuff((((

The staff was truly amazing. Got ice for us in the middle of the night, didn’t tow my Jeep , And upgraded me to a corner penthouse room

Great hotel, very clean Loved the diner at Glover Park Grill! Excellent service and food. Would definitely stay again!

The service was so-so. Had to track down valet to park, staff was sloppy storing bags, follow-up customer service was poor. TV didn’t work. There was also an “amenity charge” but amenities weren’t readily apparent, Not great.

The rooms are large And clean. The beds are comfortable, and the shower is a nice size.

I liked that it was very pet friendly. Pet friendly

Great location and value for our trip to D C. Excellent service aNd great Happy Hour!

Very clean and quiet. ATM on site - cool! They did not have a guest computer. We have never stayed anywhere that didn't have one. Great breakfast but cost $15/person. On our 2nd day the room wasn't cleaned and towels were not replaced. I told them when we left around 1:00, but when we returned at 5PM still wasn't cleaned. Left an email request but when we returned at 10PM still not cleaned. I called desk and they sent clean towels ASAP. Fire alarm was not attached to the wall and hanging by a couple of wires. The sensor was on so I assumed it was functional. Very friendly front desk attendants and outside attendant was exceptionally helpful in hailing a taxi every-time we needed one. Overall experience was 4 out of 5.

Great location, nice size rooms. Very reasonable price.

The property is close to the American University campus. The room was comfortable and a nice size. Amenities were excellent and included a wine happy hour from 5-6.
