Washington D.C. was under lockdown when I had booked 2 nights @ Washington Plaza. Nobody was allowed in downtown area around inauguration, I wasn’t able to get a refund on Room. Only offered 2 nights in future by the end of the year. Exorbitant price I paid for dates around the inauguration, not remotely comparable to any other dates of the year.

Beautiful hotel, in the heart of the city. Close to stores/restaurants and the White House. Also close to public transportation, so very walkable. The view of Thomas Circle from the room is incredible. Great restaurant for breakfast in the lobby.

Rooms were filthy and need updating. Pool, restaurant and bar are closed and was not disclosed on Orbitz site.

I really loved this hotel. It was within walking distance to all the main attractions and close by to transportation for the ones that weren’t. The staff was friendly and the pool area was great. We got a room with 1 queen bed and it was pretty small! We had to get creative with ways to find space to store our suitcases but other than that it was a great room and hotel.

The people were very kind and the room was very quiet.

Breakfast is an additional $17 and parking is some $40 in addition to the prepaid nightly rate. I know some of the details start to run together, but some hotels specify parking included and/or free breakfast. This one had parking and breakfast listed as amenities. I selected this hotel over one with a 30% resort fee, only to find that this property had more fees that were not disclosed. It was not a happy surprise after a long drive into DC.

Very professional front desk and cleaning staff but amenities were not competitive with peer hotels in the area.

The location near some really great restaurants was key.

Essentially a standard hotel. Nothing to do backflips over. Number one for me is cleanliness. My one disappointment is no munchies in the room.

Great location, super clean, good deal for DC. In the summer the pool is a great plud

Hi Michelle - thanks so much for taking the time to review. We are really centrally located and for things that arent' within walking distance, the city bikeshares are across the street. DC is also full of rentable scooters, mopeds and clean public transporations. We have several room types and suites available to book - some that feature more space or balconies that overlook the pool. Please ask about them when you return!
