I had reserved a deluxe room with king bed for my wife and me. We checked in and the guy at the front desk was very nice. Got to our room and discovered they had given us a room with one full sized bed, which isn’t big enough for two adults to sleep comfortably. I called down to the front desk and the guy said that since I had booked through Orbitz, they have the right to reassign the bed type based on availability. At first, he said that they didn’t have any rooms available with larger beds. After arguing with him for several minutes, he finally agreed to give us another room with a king bed. The front desk clerk practically threw the keys to me and wasn’t the nice polite gentleman he had been originally. That new room was fine. The other issue was that we didn’t realize that they don’t clean the rooms or provide fresh towels unless you ask for it. When we returned to our room after the first day, the room hadn’t been made up and the dirty towels were where we had left them that morning on the floor. After calling down to the front desk, the housekeeper came by and gave us clean towels. Third issue was that we parked at the hotel valet ($52 per day). The morning of our departure, I called down to the valet to have our car ready, but there was no answer. So we went downstairs to the valet with our luggage but no valet was there. We waited for several minutes and we’re beginning to panic as we had to get to the airport. Eventually, the valet showed up.

All staff were friendly ans efficient. We had a couple of requests outside our official reservation times (arriving early, leaving our bags & car after checkout to pick up later) and they arranged everything seamlessly.

The property was in an excellent location. The staff was awesome at fulfilling requests. The restaurant Roaring Fork was also very good. I only wish that the bar was open. It looked beautiful and was the only one in the area with a humidor. Overall 4.8 stars!!!!!!!
Staff was very welcoming as soon as me and my friends arrived. I liked that the pool was open till 11 unlike most hotels actually gave us time to relax before me and my friends went out for the night.
