The best part of our stay at the Residence Inn by Marriot in Austin, TX was Max the concierge. His welcoming was warm and inviting. Above all, he helped answer all our questions and accommodated as many of our last minute requests as possible while setting clear expectations. He didn’t deliver more than he could, but it was all done with a relatable & friendly demeanor. Without those interactions, our stay would have been a typical and unremarkable hotel experience, but Max made it memorable.

First experience on the Austin 6th Street night scene. I wanted to experience a hotel that was close, had parking and knew that most people visiting the 6th street bar scene would be "stumbling in" during the late night. Don't judge me...lol. 6th Street is a blast, choose your music, bar, patrons from many choices lined up next to each other. Restaurants stay open late for those not interested in the club and many offer live music. If you want the heart pumping sound and excitement of the club......you have till 2AM.

It was a super nice hotel with an even better location. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel met my expectations and beyond. The valet might be expensive for some, but it is convenient if you have a car and the staff are EXCELLENT, fast, and very friendly. I had free breakfast my entire stay at the restaurant there at the hotel (Champions). It by FAR exceeded my expectations. It was quiet, very clean, and comfortable. The only issue I had was that there was not complimentary lotion in my room - but the front desk had some. This hotel is in an excellent location downtown and walking distance from most everything you want to see/experience in downtown Austin. I highly recommend staying here as it's affordable, comfortable and most importantly it is staffed with the most helpful, nice, and cheerful people!! I'd stay again just because their staff is so awesome!

So convenient for the price. Amazing room with a lot of space. Valet was kind and quick. Staff were very nice and efficient. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We were thrilled with the Residence Inn. It was so close to all of the venues in which we needed to see. The continental breakfast was wonderful and generous. The staff knew our names from the first day and were so extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. When we return to Austin, we will absolutely stay at the Residence Inn again!

It was a great Hotel stay. A part from the water , it hard a fish like smile on it.

Old version shower, Preferable removable shower head or at least have a shower cap , no lotions at all...

Took a quick vacay without the kid and it was wonderful. Perfect location and the kitchen was very handy for having a drink etc.. Hubby was able to even park his bike in the living room area, felt like a slice of home away from home.

Everything was great. From down the up to the room. Hotel had a bar/restaurant downstairs and we watch the final four there. 6th street is a block away. I had forgot tooth paste and I went down to lobby and they gave me some complementary stuff.

My partner and I were I town for the weekend. The staff was wonderful and knew all the right spots around the area to eat, drink, and be merry. The ONLY thing I was sad about was the lack of an outside pool area. BUT there was a bar with a great happy hour AND a Starbucks downstairs...so...

Paid over $300 for one night stay and it was just plain ordinary. The complimentary breakfast was good. Good location. Parking is $24 for overnight and sometimes there isn't enough spaces.

Clean, spacious, and wonderful location. Just 2 blocks from 6th street. Place really is nice and free breakfast at champions grill was great.

Overall very good experience. The room was very nice. There was a kitchen area with a full sized refrigerator and full supply of plates, cups, utensils, and other kitchen items. The room was a good size, but it was awkward to have the bathroom right next to the bed. The room window also faced the majority of other rooms from the residence inn and courtyard, so we often had to keep the blinds closed. The complimentary breakfast was great and had some different choices each day. The social was very pleasurable and a nice touch including a selection of wine, beer, and some snacks. The hotel also had a station to print the boarding passes, which was a great connivence. The hotel was right near all the bars on 6th street, which are filled with people. Overall, it was a good experience, but it took a while to check out of the hotel because there was only one staff member at the desk, during the busiest time of the hotel.

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room, convenient location to downtown activities.

the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I wanted and could not get was a "Coke"

I really liked it...perfect for a conference at the convention center. The complementary breakfast was as good as many $20 high end buffets. The bed was a little small but the full kitchen was much better than expected. I would certainly stay here again.

We were there to visit and spend time with our children and grandchildren who live in the Austin area. Their breakfast food is not good. The location was great.

Business meeting

The room was great and comfortable and the location of the hotel was great for walking everywhere. The guest services (ie daily breakfast and social hour) was always good and helped to save money on food. The only complaint was that the water smelled and tasted terrible. Thank God there was free beer!
