The Crowne Plaza is a wonderful hotel. It's been completely renovated! It is in a convenient location close to everything!! The staff is amazing and helpful!! The room is very spacious and very quiet!! Slept like a baby!! Hate that the balconies are now locked for safety but I completely understand!! I travel to Atlanta twice a month and will stay here every time!!
Everything was great about the hotel, staff, rooms, bedding and amenities. These are the worst synchronized elevators I have ever seen. All day, it just busy times the wait for elevators is exhausting. There are 4 in the area but I don't think they were ever all turned on at the same time. It's so annoying that if I traveled frequently to the area I would select another hotel. It's too bad because otherwise it was a great place!
this hotel is very clean, quiet and staff outstanding Marsha and Tarondal at the check-in very helpful.the food at the restaurant is good.my real reason for liking this hotel is that i am truly able to secure my rest to perform my job with greyhound
Two friends and I stayed here while attending a Radiohead concert. Drove down from Charlotte, NC for a weekend getaway. Hotel was great. Clean, comfortable, & staff was very accommodating. Close to everything. Valet was fast. No complaints here.
The location was close to most things we wanted to do by walking. Staff helped with restaurants and cabs. They also told us if walking at that time of day or evening was safe for ladies. Avery and Lakeisha at the front desk were so helpful. We ate breakfast each day in the restaurant. Debi, Ghada and Sandra took very good care of us. Yes, I would use this hotel again.
Everything about this stay was wonderful. The only thing I can honestly say that I did not like was the pay for parking in the parking garage across the street. But I guess what can you expect in a larger city such as Atlanta!?. Customer service is very huge to us when traveling and Marsha, at the front desk was AWESOME! I will definitely be using you all in future trips to Atlanta. Marsha made my stay very welcoming and upon departure, she wished us safe travels. I haven't met too many friendlier people than Marsha. She is one of those people you meet and NEVER forget. Shes amazing and you should be thankful to have her working for your company.
We stayed between June 6-16, 2017 and I must say the room services were really bad. We had to call up room service everyday to clean the room and change the linen and then they would be done. What a shame that the bed sheets were torn The hotel was ok and the wifi worked fine and the hotel staff were cordial and polite
After checking in and going into our room, we first noticed a bad smell in the hallway and room, then we noticed the lock on the balcony door was broken and would not lock securely, a cigarette was burnt and stuck into the lawn chair on the balcony of a non-smoking room, the bed skirt was very dirty. We was able to change to a different room that was much better. The new room was very loud due to outside traffic, the tub drain was very slow due to it was clogged. We asked if the hotel would fix it and they did. About 4:00AM the fire alarm went off to find out later that it was a false fire alarm and the hotel did not send an all clear announcement. Later that afternoon the hotel placed a letter under the door of our room to apologize for any inconvenience experienced due to the false fire alarm and not sending an all clear announcement. Valet parking person lost our car keys and later found it left in the seat of someone else's car that they had parked. However, Mr. Avery Allen a Parking Attendant was very professional in getting this problem resolved. Maid service was great, they did a great job cleaning the room each day. My husband and I was very disappointed we had at this hotel and will not ever stay here again.
We stayed here due to it's close walk to the Fox Theater. All the employees were friendly and welcoming. Our room was on the third floor and it had a large walk out balcony. Since the weather was perfect, we were able to enjoy the balcony several times. The room was clean, modern and spacious. I was surprised there was no refrigerator since it was such a big room. Come to think of it, I don't recall a safe either. There was a strange smell in the hallway when we arrived, like moldy carpet, and the next two days there was a small air dryer machine that sat on the floor in the middle of the hallway but the bizarre odor was gone. The elevators are extremely slow to arrive but normal speed once you get on.
Walked in on Sunday a little early for regular check-in but luckely the reception was able to accomodate an early check-in. Thanks again for that because I know it was very busy! As the fire alarm was going off in the hotel I quickly dropped my stuff and went out for lunch (read that review under Herban Fix Kitchen; great place!). When I came back everything was back to normal luckely. As mentioned the service at the reception was really good. I was situated on the 12th floor and the rooms are spacious and well furbished. All up to par with CP standards. You can hear some noise from the highway which you are facing but in principle that is not really bad. The hotel is situated in the central area of town with quite some options for dinner closeby. If you want to stay in the hotel there is also a restaurant / bar. As I had a very early checkout I did not make use of the breakfast (not included) or any other services. Parking is available either as valet or self parking in the nearby garage. This is about $ 15 a night and you can reach the garage through the walkbridge. All together a good hotel for the casual or business traveller. Keep up the good work!
