Every thing was clean and the people were very nice. the room was big, spacous and quiet.

I stay here regularly, twice a year, for the last six years. Bill calls me by name, which I find amazing. The hot breakfast is important for me; I'm diabetic, and having high-protein choices (eggs) is important. The fact that it's free is even better! I had a few fixes, but left those with the front desk when I left.

I got checked in, only to find out that someone was already staying in my room. The ladies at the front desk were very apologetic and called the hotel across the street the find me a room, which ended up being $10 cheaper, but it took about an hour from my evening which I’d planned to spend working.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have never had these problems before.There were 4 dead bugs on the floor, a small stain on the sheet, the telephone in our room never worked, our toilet had to be repaired and our room key had to be redone several different times as it would stop working. Also on Friday we discovered a sausage link on the floor of the dining area and we had not been served sausage links since we arrived on Monday. Therefore the floors had not been cleaned properly. I was very disappointed in our stay there this year.

Upon check in the staff were very accommodating and polite. The hotel had an overwhelming smell of body odor. We got to our room and the smell was overwhelming, carpets and furniture were stained. There were corners that hadn’t been vacuumed lately, and the smoke detector in the bedroom was covered in dust. The next day we bought fabreeze and sprayed the furniture and room multiple times a day. On the last night there we were in the sitting area and looked up and someone had covered the smoke detector with a bag, it is still there as we had no way to remove it. The bed was comfortable and room was great sized! I would stay again as long as I had air fresheners!

The hot breakfast is excellent. Because it is diabetic-friendly, I stay at the hotel. The staff is flawlessly polite. But the room smelled awful, the refrigerator leaked, froze all the contents, and the rug needs replacing--it has wrinkles from being wet, and has several spots that look like serious damage. There is no clock radio in the room. The black-out curtains don't shut completely. When I came into the room, the air conditioner was not on, so it was hot and muggy. The staff dried out the rug with a big blow dryer, but the room should not have been sold in the first place.

Everything was great except for the beds which are really hard. Each morning I woke up with my back hurting.

Stayed here during a weekend of trail riding in forest. The facilities were well maintained. The lobby and breakfast area are inviting. The breakfast was complete with hot food and good. The room was clean and bedding was nice. Also, the price was as good or better than any others in area.

When I travel to central Louisiana, I stay here. Have for four years. It's never been anything but top-notch. This time, a few things showed wear. The hallway smelled like feet. The toilet took a lot of work to get it flushed. There were stains on the bathroom tile. (I tried to scrub them off with water, but it needs more work.) The breakfast, which used to be diabetic friendly, has shifted to the cheaper carbohydrate-high choices--grits, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos wrapped in heavy tortillas, hot sausage and onions (for breakfast.) The good news is that the breakfast makers are friendly and ready to help. They always have been. I asked for a banana and peanut butter and they brought it with no hesitation. But now there are other hotels in the area, and competition is a tough trainer.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have never had these problems before.There were 4 dead bugs on the floor, a small stain on the sheet, the telephone in our room never worked, our toilet had to be repaired and our room key had to be redone several different times as it would stop working. Also on Friday we discovered a sausage link on the floor of the dining area and we had not been served sausage links since we arrived on Monday. Therefore the floors had not been cleaned properly. I was very disappointed in our stay there this year.
