This was a one night stay to break up a long day of driving on our way home from vacation. We didn’t arrive in Aberdeen until about 9pm and when I walked into the hotel, the front desk was empty. Not a big deal, but when two young girls appeared together, my thought was that one of them should be staffing the front desk. The front desk was unmanned again the next morning when I went to leave my room key. I didn’t have the time to track anyone down, so I just left it. I gave them my name and was told they had no reservation for me. Good thing I keep all my confirmation emails. The hotel had spelled my name wrong. Not the confirmation, but the hotel staff. Took a few minutes to get that straightened out. Parking lot was HUGE, but lots of trucks pulling trailers meant my son and I parked in the far side of the lot. Not a big deal since Aberdeen is a fairly safe place. The elevator, hallway and room carpeting was FILTHY. Not just needs a vacuum dirty, but huge stains kind of dirty. The room we were given looked out at the brick on the back of the entrance canopy. There was a spot on a wall where there had been a picture, but just the empty hanger remained. This is an extended stay hotel and the room was quite large. The bathroom and bedding were clean. Breakfast the next morning was about what you would expect. All in all, I don’t think I’d stay here again.

Loved having this option for consistent standards! Friendly and helpful staff. Nice exercise room and equipment also. Would stay here again. Plenty of parking and sits back off the main road just enough to block out a lot of that noise.

A very nice-sized room with a big fridge, couch, etc. Bathroom was large, too. And the breakfast is what you’d expect. The downsides were: (1) A block away on the back side of the hotel, they knocked down some buildings and are using heavy equipment to clean up. That started pretty early in the morning and if you’re on vacation and planning to sleep in, forget it. (2) Despite a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, housekeeping knocked on our door at 9:00 a.m., too. So much for sleeping in. (3) This place can’t be that old, but somebody should be vacuuming the carpet! The elevator was really filthy and the hallways weren’t much better. I’d bet this is a management problem or a difficulty in hiring good employees.

Love the small kitchens in each room. So nice to have a fridge to store food so we are not dependent on fast food when travelling. Really loved the separate bedroom as well. My nephew stayed up late to watch TV on the fold-out couch, so we were able to close our bedroom door and we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was very good as well!

This place was amazing. The hotel staff was truly inspiring. They offered amenities and even allowed me to adjust my stay. And they went so far as to even allow a late check out time. I will gladly stay at this hotel every time I'm in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The hotel staff was even knowledge enough to provide tips as to where to eat, and get my hair fix for a big event. The room was amazingly spacious, well kept, and spotless, My hats off the maid staff.

We traveled to Aberdeen for the committal of a family member's ashes, so it was not a weekend of great pleasure, other than being able to gather with other relatives and friends. The staff made our time as enjoyable as possible by providing space for us to just be together and have a meal together. The staff was most helpful in providing for our needs; they could not have treated us better! Thank you so much!

We travel to Aberdeen for youth sport events. We have tried several different hotels. This is our favorite. The property is new. More importantly, the rooms are a great size to hang out in. This property also has plenty of parking which is a criticism I have of the two hotels that adjoin the convention space.

Visited Aberdeen and stayed here. Next to mall (we didn't go) and restaurants. Good breakfast. Rooms were clean and had nice kitchens in them. Spent time in the pool and hot tub. Nice patio and grill out back. We needed a late check out and they worked with us. Greatly appreciated. Bedroom was separate from livingroom and both had tvs.

It's a standard, middle-of-the-road Marriott property in Aberdeen, SD. Was there in December on business. The lobby is big and the breakfast area shares the same space. Room was large, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Right off the main drag. No frills, no complaints.

We had a nice two bedroom suite with a full kitchen. It was below zero outside so it was really nice to be able to cook and not have to go outside except for the games. My son and I enjoyed the clean, comfortable surroundings. The breakfast was a little weak in the offerings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Make sure to check your bill. The second night they had charged us more, but they did fix it. The front desk said the rate has to be manually changed for both nights and whoever made the reservation when I called in did not do that.
