Nice hotel but some things were out of service
The hotel its self was nice. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The only negatives were the pool is rather small and the hot tub was out of service it would have been nice to know that before we booked.. also we booked a one bed room suite the pictures showed the room having the bedroom closed off with its own separate door that was what we were expecting but that is not what we recieved. So that would of been nice from the sites part to have a better representation of what room your actually getting. But the kitchenette was nice to have and made a big diffreence in our stay because we were able to cook instead of just having fast food during our stay.

Mediocre stay
The walls are so thin that we could hear the families next to us, particularly annoying last night when we had very loud night owls next door. The room is outdated and felt a little gross. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, carpets worn, sofa dirty and worn, etc. It was as clean as could be for old furnishings. The mattresses were brand new, like arrived the day we arrived. There was no cleaning service the 3 nights of our stay which was fine for us. Towels and trash could be left outside the door and was promptly emptied and replaced. The space was comfortable as we had 2 bedrooms. If only there was insulation so we couldn’t hear our neighbors conversations. The front desk had games we could borrow which was great since Rapid City shuts down early. Breakfast as mediocre and depending who was working, food ran out and wasn’t refilled unless asked. Overall a very mediocre place and we will not be staying here again.

Property was as expected, rooms was as expected. Beds and pillows were comfy. Happy to have a kitchen, no oven, and we didn’t have enough utensils for our family of 5. Staff was friendly, front desk was friendly, would stay again.

The deal I was able to get for our deluxe studio was extremely affordable- even with two pets! The breakfast provided was good. My son and I were disappointed that the pool was small and the spa wasn’t working. The back door also did not work due to ice freezing the key system. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel and stay again :)

There were a few things I needed during my stay ( no dish for the microwave, needed quarters for the laundry, needed to extend my stay) and the front desk staff were friendly and immediately resolved whatever I needed. I felt safe here and felt like “ home”. The pool was and hot tub were fun for all of us ( traveled with kids).

The front desk staff was very helpful with our online reservation issue. The morning breakfast started out without any coffee and old eggs. There were no dishes in the kitchen for use- were we to request it from the desk? Signage would have been helpful. No top sheet or pillows for the pull out couch- had to rob from the bed. Frozen food left in freezer upon our arrival.
