The general area is nice with good views. Easy access to local attractions. However, the rooms were dirty, we had garbage from a prior guest still in the bathroom trash can. The comforter was stained leading to us using blankets from our vehicle. The room had a strong odor of pets and smoke, even though the rooms were non smoking and pet free.

This place is great!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights as we went to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, the Badlands, Bear Country USA and more fun things. This was a great location close to everything. We would stay again!

Property was very clean and maintained. The cabin was cozy and perfect for myself and teenager. Staff was friendly and helpful. Across the street is a restaurant that was playing live music, frankly I would not have known except the hotel staff shared that with me. The restaurant appeared closed by 10pm.

The staff was wonderful. Our rooms were very small. We had 4 adults in a 2 bed room and we could hardly move around with all our luggage. A hotel room has way more room. The beds were not very comfortable. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Location and price was great. Old style motel. Great to have a kitchen in room, amenities were very limited as far as kitchen supplies. Bed was uncomfortable for me, defiantly need new mattresses. Comp breakfast was toast fruit, cereal and coffee.

Great little motel south of Rapid City. It’s just a quick drive to Rushmore and just a little further to Custer. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. The community gas grill and covered front porch with tables allowed us to save money and eat better by making our own meals. Would definitely stay here again.
