When looking for the balance of price, safety, location and great nice, chill staff you can find that at the FIDI. I was so impressed by every part. I appreciate it and look forward to coming back!! Perfect spot to start exploring New York City. Close to the most important subway lines and again, safe.

last minute stay

we were stuck in newark airport due to storm and flight cancellations . This was the closest we could get a room so it was by default not by choice. The check in was quick which we appreciated as we had been up 30 hours straight ! The room was small with very little space to walk around the bed so i stubbed my toes multiple times. ! It was clean and the bed was comfortable and that’s all we really cared about at this point. We checked out first thing in am to get a train out of NY so can’t really comment on any amenities . There is a fee we did not know about but we were desperate so we didn’t question it. The girl at the front desk in the am was very friendly and called a transport company for us to take us to the train station which the lady in the evening told us couldn’t be done that we needed to hail a cab ! So overall it was ok but if i was there for a planned trip to NY for a longer stay i likely would look for a more spacious room .

The location and cleanliness of this property make it a fantastic choice for the area. However, the staff go above and beyond and will do everything possible to make your stay a great one.

This hotel must have no sound proofing. We could EVERYTHING the neighbors were doing. EWW. It was a very upsetting stay. I reached out to management but have heard back. For this reason, I don’t recommend this hotel!

Extremely sma room and they charge a $30 "destination fee". Rude front desk staff. Unfortunate stay. Room is ok but bathroom shower has water spilling over to the floor as the shower curb is low.

Great vibes
