Got in early, Checked in early, left the bags and went to visit World Trade One . room was available at 2 PM. It was a short 24 hour trip to New York , so essentially room was needed just ro sleep in it, It was great, the view from the second highest floor in hotel was nice .

Had a great stay for my birthday. Room was modern and clean, bed was cozy, and the location cannot be beat, everything we needed was a short walk away. My only complaint was that the lobby is chaotic and there were lines to check in and out all day and night. I would stay again.

Housekeeping was great and very timely. The WiFi, however, was extremely unreliable, which affected streaming services and phone calls. Additionally, this is a green hotel, so the key card must be left in the slot to operate the lights and heat. This was not explained at check-in, which resulted in an unnecessary call to the engineer. Given how cold NYC is, returning to a cold room because the key card must be removed when leaving was very uncomfortable. Better communication at check-in would have avoided this issue.

There is no carpet anywhere in the hallways and rooms, so noise ricochets everywhere. I was woken up a number of times late at night by drunk guests returning to their rooms after partying. The shower did not get particularly hot - I could not get the water to get more than lukewarm. The blanket on the bed was so minimal I had to crank up the heater to be warm enough to sleep.

Overall a good place to stay! The doors of the rooms slammed pretty loud, which got a bit annoying at times when people were inconsiderate and letting them slam behind them. The bed was sliding around on the floor when we got in and out, so it could have used something to stabilize the feet of the bed frame. Someone was smoking nearby at one point and the smell definitely drifted into our room, but that's not necessarily the hotel's fault. Otherwise it was a great stay.
