The room was great, the gym very well equipped. Some machines were missing in my opinion, but for a hotel gym on Times Square, it was great. The check in staff was a little rough around the edges, but she did her job, even if I was missing a certain warmth or feeling of being welcome. Ruth from the Broadway lounge was an excellent host and she went the extra mile on my birthday. I already tipped her generously, but please keep her in mind for any promotions or letters of recommendation, she was the pinnacle of service.

The property room had an excellent view and the property was walkable to multiple subway entrances, and the theater district. Our 17th floor room bathroom always smelled like sewer or mold, even after spraying Lysol. The cleaning staff would face the shower wand toward the wall because the wand outlet had mold on it.

Great location in the heart of downtown NY. On times square, so close to shows and the bright lights of NY. Hotel is massive so one could feel lost in terms of personal service among so many guests. But my encounters with staff was favorable. Lookout restaurant has great food and our server Keem provided a wonderful and memorable dining experience.

I really like the New York Marriott Marquee. Excellent facilities, clean rooms, friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay tremendously. It was close to Times Square and it was noisy outside but not inside the hotel. Having said that, it is a central location which made a lot of things and places within reach. Highly recommend.
