This was a great, safe location close to anything we could need. The host was attentive and kind, and check in/out was super simple! The beds were comfortable, loved having tvs in our rooms and the temperature in the space was able to stay perfect the entire stay. We also loved the washer and dryer and that 3 pods were included!Issues we had were the water temp; it took 7ish minutes to warm up then only stayed warm for a couple minutes, time of day didn’t seem to matter. The door in one bedroom couldn’t shut because the handle is on upside down. The extra blankets provided weren’t used because they had visible dirt on them. The bathroom is EXTREMELY small which is expected in NYC but it is something to consider if you have more than 2 people. It’s not possible for multiple people to get ready at the same time. The fan in there doesn’t work either so you need to wait for steam to go away before getting ready. There was an enormous roach in the bathroom one night, which I know can happen in NYC. The host replied that he’d let the landlord know, but nothing was physically done for that or the hot water, which was a little concerning. The fridge also sticks every time you close it so you need to wait a few minutes after you close it to open it again or it’s impossible to open. Overall I gave it a 3 because of location, ease of check in/out and the wonderfully kind and attentive host, but I don’t think I’d stay here again without some changes being made.
