The hotel lobby is modern with pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms are small but comfortable. However, the daily “credit” of $15 to $20 for purchases at the hotel market in lieu of a continental breakfast sounds good, but no credits were actually given on the check-out invoice and we were charged for all purchases. The repeated “Destination Fee” for every purchase at the hotel market of $39.99 ($120, separate from the purchases) is excessive and deceptive as this was not disclosed upon making purchases at the market. Would not recommend.

The AC was not working when I checked in let the the front desk know before I went out. Came back to the room at 1:00 am and it was not working either. At 1:00 am they insisted to send a tech out to fix instead of just offering a different room.

We pre paid our flights and hotel through Orbitz but had to pay extra $46 of “Destination Fee” at arrival. We picked this hotel for the location being next to the Grand Central Station but other than that, the room is dated and dark. There is no coffee machine, glasses nor ice bucket. You can get a cup of hot water for a fee.

The hotel rooms are excellent. I have booked 2 double bed rooms and stayed with family for 3 nights. The staff was good and very supportive. The property is very good at prime location with all kund of transportation like subway, buses and taxies. Hotel has also arranged premium taxi drop to JFK airport with very much reasonable rate compared to Uber and Lyft. Overall the experience is awesome. Highly recommended.
