The Grand is overpriced for the quality of the hotel room provided. We stayed in a Standard room and it was small and worn down. We stayed also at a nearby hotel for about the same price, and that hotel, Horseguard, was twice the size and was of higher quality. The staff service was also by far more superior. I’ll never stay at the Grand again.

Very convenient to the Thames, the sidings, shopping, theatre district, whitehall area, etc. Older hotel but clean and safe. Staff were helpful and courteous. The 24/7 coffee station was very nice touch.

Location, location, location! The hotel is a block from Trafalgar square and walkable to many of the key sites. It's walkable to shopping, restaurants, buses, the tube, hop on and hop off buses. The staff is very friendly and provided great suggestions to restaurants and sites to see. The hotel is very clean and has a washing machine at no charge for guests to use. I would definitely stay again at the hotel for my next trip to London.

Really dirty, I arrived after midnight so had to stay, I complained the next day they offered me another room which was equally grim. I left the next day even though I had another night booked and went to another hotel. I was unable to get a refund through hotels.com or the hotel directly. Avoid at all costs.
