The Belvedere Hotel

Lovely hotel in theater district

Stayed 3 nights, it became my home. Front desk clerks, doormen and the concierge did much to make things easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Hudson New York

Just the right size and perfect location

You literally could not ask for a better location. It’s a fifteen minute walk to Times Square and just steps from Central Park and Columbus Circle. The room was super tiny, but it was all I needed as a solo traveler. It was clean and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I was unimpressed with the housekeeping (they knocked my toothbrush over from where it was propped up and barely made the bed). There is no ice bucket in the room. My biggest complain is how there was no lighting at all in the room. Only the bathroom had lights. I asked for a lamp at the front desk and the guy was very helpful but said even though he requested one be brought to me, he doubted it would. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The Roosevelt Hotel

Great location and good character

You can’t beat the location. It is a very old hotel so the amenities are lacking. Always a long wait for an elevator, no exhaust fan in bathroom and limited outlets make for minor inconveniences. Overall a good hotel for the price.
