Never had enough towels. Stayed for 5 days and the room was not cleaned one time. Our car was towed and we had to pay to get it back, then got charged twice! The front desk refunded the second charge which was helpful. The room was newly renovated and clean when we got there. Great ocean views also
I had no bath cloths to bathe with . Rooms are basic . Terrible beds. Only thing good was the view.slowest 1 elevator ever. Will never ever stay or recommend to anyone......for $770 for 2 nights could of Ben ALLOT BETTER

Advertised that it was wheel chair accessible and it was not. Am fighting to get charges reversed on my card cause we could not stay there.
Room had not been properly cleaned. Pullout sofa had food in it (not crumbs). Also the room had bugs. Attempted to speak with management but we were told the manager was on vacation. We have photos and videos of everything stated in hopes of being contacted
We have stayed at this particular hotel many times over the years. The staff is always very friendly, they always greet you with a smile. It may need a few little tweeks such as better flushing toilets but all in all it was a great place to stay for the value and location. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would change is the elevator situation. There is only one....it is small and had some issues while we were there. But these things are to be expected......happens at many hotels. A big shout out to the staff though.....they were all great!!!!

I figured as much based on other reviews... but little things like a missing toilet paper holder, stained yellow marks on the white bed comforters, and a towel rack that fell out of the wall when I reached for a towel..just pointed out the neglect and lack of attention to detail, etc.
Marjac suites in va beach is run down and in need of remodeling. The rooms are filthy. The sofas need to be thrown out and replaced. I counted 3 roaches in my room. I went to front desk and they gave me bug spray. The shower curtain had mold on it. There is not enough light in the bathroom. The carpets are filthy.
The room was semi clean. The toilet quit working. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was stained really bad.
Too many problems to list. Rooms had many difficulties, mainly plumbing. House cleaning did bare minimum daily, mainly took care of bathroom. Stayed 3 nights and never changed bed linens even when asked. Didn’t vacuum room. Front desk staff was very helpful. Would not stay here again.
I like the two different rooms. Makes it easier when you travel with children and you have to plan meals and can actually sit at the table and have dinner on vacation. Will definitely stay here again as well as recommend this hotel to friends and family!!
Worked out nicely for our little group, definitely a budget hotel but still fine for us. Only one elevator and it’s not that reliable so be ready for some stairs!
Staff and check in and check out was nice and courteous. Room was picked up and wiped down but not “clean”, found a loaf of bread and empty drinks under the pullout sofa, pull out sofa had dirty sand filled sheets and blankets on it. Carpet needs deep cleaned. The TV in the living room did not work and no one came to check it when called. The railing on the balcony is PVC and had a cracked fitting. Price and location were nice, would not take little kids again due to hygiene and safety.
When we got to our room there was poop on the sheets. They gave a heck of a time to switch rooms it was disgusting
The mattress on the bed is very nice. The frame is longer that the mattress and box spring and it sticks out from the bed. I cut my leg when I stayed in October, of this year. My recent stay in December hit the bed frame several times, but didn't break the skin this time, but my grandson 6 cut his leg when he walk by the bed frame. In the first room 411 the wall heater wasn't working in the bedroom and they gave us another room. The problem with room 213 in the bathroom the tub was dirty and stopped up and the sink the. The maintenance came and fix the sink, but the tub was still stopped up.
The location is the best at Virginia Beach. The hotel also has a front balcony open hallway that gives you a great view of the strip along with a private ocean view balcony. The suites are a great size. The room has been updated but our room had an electrical problem that was never fixed. A whole wall didnt have electricity and they just ran an extention cird from across the room. One of our family member's room had bedbugs and the response from the front desk was poor. Bedbugs happen at hotels but staff should be trained to deal with those that are in a room with them. The staff were unbothered qnd unproressional in this matter.
This is the second time we have stayed here. We love this place. Priced right and the staff is amazing. Perfect set up if you have kids since the bedroom is separate from the living room.
