Front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. Huge free pkng garage adjacent with hotel entrance steps away- also great; felt safe. Room was relatively clean, but the property definitely needs updating; decor, furniture, bathrooms, etc. Small things were overlooked; dead bugs on the windowsill, rusty bathroom fixtures. Nice amenities in room, but again; it all needs to be refreshed; everything is visibly outdated, "economical" and worn. The A/C, the TV, microwave, coffee maker, fridge - all plugged into a giant power strip on the floor in the room. Maid service was knocking on guests' doors to clean rooms at 9:30 am- that's a bit much. I hope they can spruce up and modernize the facility. Rates were reasonable, considering the much higher cost of everything right now; but I did expect a "nicer" property for the price. Again, staff was very warm, helpful, professional and kind.

We ended up leaving a day early and the beds were loud and broken. Smelled like smoke. It was dirty and didn't seem like it was in the best area.

Beautiful hotel and the staff was very courteous. The hotel is in the middle of the cultural area of downtown. The hotel is just a block away from the Texas Inn the, "T-Room" as the locals call it, which is an interesting dining experience. I definitely recommend staying here.

Pool closed, restaurant/bar closed, no breakfast, hair dryer in room didn’t work.

The first room I was given smelled so bad they had the windows open and it was 40 degrees outside. The second was ok but the stove is old and the linens are old and thin. And the whole place is dirty. Very disappointed

Walking distance to almost everything downtown. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great location for going to Lockn Festival which is delayed by one day!

Hotel is perfectly located for my purposes. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

For that kind of money, we usually get a good Continental breakfast!! Nothing was offer except a small pot in the room that didn't make enough coffee for the two of us!

Wish I could have gotten the king room. Was a good stay. Only thing missing was an exhaust fan in shower, whole room was humid!!! But location and staff are perfect. I will stay here again.

The hotel is very nice, conviently located with very quiet rooms. The staff is very pleasant and quite helpful. We had a nice relaxing breakfast in the restaurant. Although we did not go to the bar it looked very welcoming. I have stayed there twice and would stay again.

Stayed one night while visiting. Bed was very comfy and staff was great.

Great location and easy access to expressway! Staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Hotel was very nice. Very clean and even the maids were very talkative and friendly.

Horrible, not clean. At check in there was a foul odor which i ignored by buying lysol spray and turning the air on. It was gone after a few hours of being away. The wall had some sort of bubbly growth hidden by wallpaper. I had to by softscrub for the bathroom. The kicker was the housekeeping. She refused to change the sheets and said it was customary for staff to just make up the beds. I had to direct her to reclean areas. Very lazy and acted as if she couldnt understand English! The worst

It is a nice hotel and easy to find. I would like to have a refrigerator at no additional cost though.

I was disappointed in this hotel. Given that I read reviews that rated it well, I expected more. The room had no microwave or refridgerator, and the coffee cups had not been replaced. The parking garage was next door, and the signage for it made it seem like it was still a public lot. While I did not exactly feel unsafe, I also did not feel that the garage was well manned. I would not plan to stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that things were not to your satisfaction during your stay. Due to Covid we have elected not to open our pool and food and beverage outlets until a time deemed safer. The hairdryer could have been a reset issue (not sure if you contacted the front desk about it). Please let us know if you ever return to our area and we will make every effort to make amends. Thank you.
