Load, messy, non clean room. Service in the Starbucks and restaurant terrible. I realize they arent part of the hotel, but they do add to the experience since they are located in the hotel lobby. Wont stay here again. Marriott needs to step up their game

Good place to stay. Need two bartender because had to wait for drinks. Shuttle service is excellent, hotel check in, gives excellent service. I wish the hotel could match what third part organizations offer.

I booked a reservation for this hotel last year for the same event I attended this year. Last year I arrived at the hotel and was told there were no rooms available even though I had made my reservation. They stated that the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. This year I arrived to check into the hotel and the same thing happened. I was kicked out of my room for other people who booked our hotels through Marriott. Even though I booked my room in July of last year. There was one lady that went out of her way to try to make sure that I was taken care of. Her name was Ilena and she was outstanding. I will not stay at this hotel again I thought it was a fluke last year so I tried it again but with it happening again it is not worth it.

Had tickets for The National, great hotel within 2 blocks for walking. Staff was very friendly, hotel and rooms very clean. I would definitely book this hotel again.

It was a nice place to stay to be central to downtown Richmond. The staff was very helpful sharing information about nearby restaurants and sights to see. The room was comfortable and the sheet and pillows were quality linens.

Very friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to the bell staff. There also is a Starbucks located at one of the street-level entrances to the Marriott. When in Richmond, I'll be back!

Pleasant hotel overall but priced about the high end of its overall value unless you can get the government rate, which would be a true value. Although the room was well kept and had all necessary amenities it was a bit small or cramped. Accessing parking was a bit confusing on arrival. After meeting associate staying at other nearby hotels there was nothing making me feel like I had the better deal. It is a nicely located hotel, clean, comfortable and up to expected Marriott standards.

Only stayed overnight but staff was pleasant and professional, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast room service was prompt but food was delivered cold

The staff at this place was fantastic,,,extremely friendly and helpful, check in to check out...2 blocks from the National Theater...PERFECT place to stay to see a show there....

employees were very hospitable, friendly and helpful. when xtra toiletries and towels were requested staff bought them up within a few minutes. rooms were super clean and comfortable. i couldn't have asked for better service and was completely satisfied during my stay. would stay in a marriott again.

Great sports bar at the hotel, tv's in every booth, great food.

cancels reservations booked on discount websites

I booked a reservation for this hotel last year for the same event I attended this year. Last year I arrived at the hotel and was told there were no rooms available even though I had made my reservation. They stated that the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. very close to convention center

Very friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to the bell staff. There also is a Starbucks located at one of the street-level entrances to the Marriott. When in Richmond, I'll be back!

Pleasant hotel overall but priced about the high end of its overall value unless you can get the government rate, which would be a true value. Although the room was well kept and had all necessary amenities it was a bit small or cramped. Accessing parking was a bit confusing on arrival. After meeting associate staying at other nearby hotels there was nothing making me feel like I had the better deal. It is a nicely located hotel, clean, comfortable and up to expected Marriott standards.
