Even though the facility looks old, there were good parking space, the front desk service was excellent. Enough facilities available in room. The breakfast was good however, the dining facility is not that big to accommodate the crowd.

We enjoyed our stay at the RUI in downtown Toronto. The location was great. The property appeared newly renovated and fresh. I loved the decor. All of the staff were so friendly inviting and helpful. The breakfast buffet that came with our room was amazing! The variety offered was great hot foods, pastries,fruits,salad cheeses meats and yogurts. Something for everyone and all cultural preferences. There is an area at the hotel entrance to purchase cocktails and bar snacks with lobby seating but not an actual cocktail lounge. The fitness room was well appointed. I highly recommend this hotel.

The apartment was very good, and I would stay there again. The challenge with this type of accommodation is the need to send extra images, the deposit, and the figuring out the parking. It is easy once you know, but challenging until then.

We really liked our room and the hotel . We looked forward to a drink at the bar. When we went to the bar, there was a good ambiance and we had a great time , however, this changed . The basketball game ( not a local game ) was on the tv , which was fine , but when the game started they music was replaced by the game commentary. Very loud and disruptive. A staff member even cheered for players as they got on the court . Only 2 guests sat at the bar and watched . No other patrons were asked if this is ok . We cut our drinks short and left, very disappointed and ruined our evening that we looked forward to . The bar turned into a sports bar , far from what this hotel stands for and why people go enjoy cocktails and drinks at the bar at night . Truly disappointed. The hotel room was amazing.

Minutes from Rogers Centre, aquarium, harbor, restaurants and public transportation. Room was perfect for a long weekend for 2. Loved the balcony and the view of the lake. Grocery store in the basement was very handy.
