Stayed here for 3 nights and I won't return. If you day needs to start before 7am your out of luck. No breakfast. You can't even get a cup of coffee. And front desks attitude is well go pound sand. For the rate they charge I expect a bit more of a modern and comfortable room. There were wall outlets missing the covers. Housekeeping could learn how a vacuum works. Sheets smelled of BO. Found that out when it was time to go to bed. At least the second bed was clean. Tv did not work when I checked in. They have a very limited amount of microwaves that are available. No A/C, your stuck with whatever temperature they decide the room should be. If you have do eat in the restaurant it is overpriced for what you get.

Had a birthday party poolside for Grandson Perfect place for party as kids could swim and go down the water slide while parents felt safe lingering around the pool as the lifeguards protected their kids Food was great and the restaurant Chicago Joes is a perfect spot for all dining occasions Good food at a good value Definitely would recommend for all Thunder Bay visitors and residents

Very friendly staff that were dealing with a huge wedding party and yet paid attention to us as we checked in. The room was a long ;walk and there is only one small elevator that was constantly busy. The room was in need of renovation and the general appearance and ;decor of the hotel needs to be addressed Im sure there are places in Thunder Bay that are likewise in price and give better overall value.

On our way out west last week we stayed at this hotel and were very pleased. The location was not far from the highway, rooms were clean, large and front desk staff when we arrived were very friendly. If I had one complaint it was the front desk staff in the morning seemed more interested in her paperwork. The hotel is pet-friendly which was a plus. We cannot say enough about the incredible service we received from Jeff in the restaurant when we went there for breakfast. He is an outstanding employee, who went over and above to provide excellent service. Very friendly and helpful - thank you, Jeff! We would highly recommend this hotel!

This is an older building but they've done their best to refresh the rooms and conference rooms and modernize them. The best things about this hotel are its scrupulous cleanliness and universally pleasant staff, particularly in the onsite restaurant ( simple, hearty, casual dining) and Paige at the front desk. Do ask for an outward- facing room, if noisy kids bug you - the hotel had a central pool area with a massive slide, the main platform of which was directly outside my bedroom window. They shut the pool down right at 10 as promised but if I were an "early to bed" person, the noise would have irritated me.

Breakfast doesn't start until 7am and caa members don't get a discount and a free breakfast and they don't tell you that either .... it's one or the other .... if I paid 185.00 I want a free damn breakfast

We were unsure of this place at first, the outside looks a bit older and shabby, but it's clearly been redone. Very nice rooms, super big pool area, with big slide. Nice restaurant with really good food. Staff was really nice and so glad it was pet friendly. Good rates and comfy beds! We had a room that faced the pool so we didn't have windows to open. It got really hot but staff quickly brought us some fans and it was fine. Really nice place to stay.

The staff were all around the best staff that we have ever encountered at a hotel. They were all so friendly and extremely nice. They went out of their ways to make our stay great. Every encounter we walked away thinking wow. The front desk was extremely accommodating, our reservation hadn't come through yet (booked online) and she made sure to get us a room so we didn't have to sit in the lobby and wait. Then the staff at Chicago Joe's for breakfast (on April 11th) were truly amazing. Our waiter was extremely nice and fun and very helpful. We were discussing places to visit in Thunder Bay and another waitress came to our table and brought a bunch of brochures and pointed out some area's of interest. This was so unbelievably sweet of her. The staff made the staff perfect for us! The room we stayed in was extremely clean and beds were very comfy. We enjoyed everything about our stay :)

The hotel is clean, friendly, easy to access from highways and airport, with a fantastic restaurant that serves huge portions at a fairly reasonable price considering the amount of food served.. you won't leave hungry. Close to shopping and fast food outlets. indoor pool with slide available

Stayed here on our way out of town for a vacation. The room was very nice and recently updated. We were able to leave our car in the lot for the week we were away which was a huge Benefit. The food in the restaurant was pretty good too. There is an airport shuttle on demand
