Staff and service excellent - this is the only reason your review isn't lower - no issues with staff or service. On going construction. Food way too overpriced. $5.50 for a can of cola. $18 dollar sandwitches and $30 plus dollar eggs. Meal and food pricing need to be reviewed. To participate in activities it is very costly. But like all other big companies, it wont happen and I will not be returning to any Fairmont or Chateau properties.

Nice variety of places to eat and shop. Prices were reasonable. What stood out with me and my husband was the outstanding customer service provided by every employee; from the valet, bellman, front desk, managers, restaurant staff, cleaning staff, shop staff… everyone was so nice and really seemed to enjoy their job. The property is stunning and clean! I look forward to our next visit there. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We came from the Fairmont Banff Springs and found Lake Louise to be a bit underwhelming. Activities were very limited. We were “upgraded” to a suite with a view (and noise) of their ongoing construction rather than the lake view as requested. Food options were very limited. There were no real options outside of the hotel. Very nice hotel with its own level of charm.

Had trouble with our first room and communication with the Fairmont team. Once identified the Fairmont team worked really hard to make things right! The service improved to 5 stars.
