We stayed for one week for a family event. Good rooms for all of us. Great service. Friendly staff. The most wonderful and varied breakfast. Good room service. Will always stay here in Thunder Bay. It is close to restaurants and shopping and airport.

Great place to stay, easy access, lots of parking and friendly staff. I like the fact that they have a nightlight in the bathroom, so we didn’t have to leave the light on and the bathroom door open to find it in the dark.

Stayed for 5 nights. Room was nice, not a bad size, clean, some what modern. Only had a queen bed and a loveseat. Would be nicer if you could get a King bed instead. Bed was comfortable. Internet was good, only stopped working a couple times. Nice to have a fridge and microwave. Appreciate that. Breakfast is..... not good. It's.... ok I guess. Bacon, literally paper thin but taste ok, scrambled eggs had a weird texture but tasted ok, waffles were terrible, the batter tasted sour and not good every time I tried them. I dont know why. Had yogurt, cereal, bread, English muffins, hash browns... No pool, but I guess that's ok. The price is decent, that is the only reason I stayed there. Next time I will try somewhere else though, the free breakfast was why I chose this place, but next time I will try somewhere else. I found it quiet when we were there. Even though we were near a stairwell, you could barely hear anything. I ran the fan on the a/c the entire time.

room was great....comfortable bed....good wifi....a bit noisy but with weekend and ski races and other things going on the place was pretty full....i found the complimentary breakfast was pretty bad...looked like powder eggs...something they called a sausage patty...one day paper thin bacon...not much selection for toast and no bagels,,,the coffee pot was empty when i went down there 2 days in a row....i will stay there again but i will plan on eating breakfast somewhere else....the price was quoted to me in us funds ...so when i paid in canadian money was badly inflated

Pleasant staff - great breakfast options - coffee maker, microwave and fridge in room - clean room - comfy beds - wifi - blue box in room (appreciate recycling!) towels changed every third day - (this is good - it is a waste of water, etc., to change towels daily - I like to stay in an eco-aware place!)

Very Good! & Very Satisfied! with the quality, cleanliness and value of my room while staying at this Comfort Inn Hotel in Thunder Bay, Ont. for the 3 nights I stayed there. I have been staying at Comfort Inn Hotels throughout Northern, Ontario since 1996 and would recommend the Comfort Inn Hotel to anyone.

We were on our way to Halifax and stayed an extra night to avoid the snow ahead. The staff were all knowledgeable and personable. One lady even provided printed maps for us. We enjoyed our stay and our Golden Retriever did also.

Upon returning to our room we came back to our room our room wasn’t clean nor our towels were not replenished with clean towels etc..and the day staff were not allowed to give us a credit since the managers were not working on weekends..there should be an automatic discount or one room night credited Dog continuously barking on 1st floor

I visit Thunder Bay quite often and have never stayed at this hotel. We arrived late after a flight and found the main door locked. The desk clerk was very responsive and opened the door within seconds. It made me feel safe. The room was on the second level and it was clean and cheerful. It seemed to be recently updated and I think they did a good job. The rate was reasonable despite only reserving the day before. It had a standard comfort Inn breakfast but very few Thunder Bay hotels offer breakfast so I was happy. My only complaint was the parking but that may have been because we arrived so late. We ended up parking way in back and at that time of night a bit spooky. They do offer for a very low fee parking for travelers who need a spot to park when they are flying out of the local airport.

The only things going for this place is the evening clerk and the rooms are nice. However, the terrible doors that have a several inch gap beneath them and the fact that all the doors slam takes away from anything nice about this place. The night clerk was socializing with people in the hall until past 1:30 am. So you guessed it. It was a sleepless night.
