Not impressed with the customer service .. called to let them know we would be late as we were travelling from across the country. So after spending 12 hours driving , I was met by a very rude man. When I told him we were pulling a boat. His reply was well that not good and I hope you didn't try to bring it in the parking lot! Because I'm full! I told him my husband is a truck driver and even thou we had not driven into the parking lot it wouldn't be a issue to turn it around.. wasn't expecting that greeting when I arrived as the lady on the phone told me that it won't be a issue on a late arrival and to drive safely. Didn't have a issue with the customer service the night before at the comfort inn in Yorkton. M Fitzmaurice

Room needs better housekeeping. My yorkie found a brown pill on the rug and almost ate it, don't know what kind of pill it was. Other dirt on the floors which had not been vacuumed. I;ver stayed in other Comfort Inns that would put this one got shame, why such difference in the same name Hotel is beyond my expectations.

I have been to this comfort inn in thunder bay now for the 12th time. I usually stay here because the beds are great and the service is wonderful. Breakfast is what I need to get the day started and is very enjoyable. will stay again come September when I make my yearly trip up north

I am giving this hotel a poor rating because, although the rooms were quite nice, the door on the side of the building needs a step down added so that accidents like my elderly mother's don't happen again. There is a big drop at the door and she completely missed the big step down and fell and hit her head. Overall, nice rooms and comfy beds just be careful if you exit on the side of the building.

This is a decent low cost hotel with breakfast and a fair value for a family. I found the breakfast to be disappointing and the coffee to be very weak. overall, however, it is well situated in the city and easy access to everything.

Refrigerator had stuff spilled in bottom and had not been cleaned. Had to wait when we first got there as no one was at the desk and no bell. Outside doors were not opening with key. Disappointed with this Comfort Inn as we have had excellent service from others.

Seemed to be a well run motel. People were friendly and helpful. Arrived late at breakfast room which. Was just about closed but woman in charge went well out of her way to make sure we had a good breakfast.

This hotel met our needs while motoring from New York to Alaska. It was pet friendly, clean and quiet. It had trouble free WiFi, TV as well as a frig and microwave. The breakfast was more than adequate. I would stay here again when traveling through

.We were in the room for handicapped persons, next to the reception desk. A patio door opens up to the parking area. Unfortunately, all sounds from the corridor, reception desk and parking lot came into the room. Neither door muffled those sounds. There was excessive light from the patio door, as the curtain did not cover it, letting light in from both sides and at the top. And the patio door railing needs work!

This hotel is very worn and tired. When we walked into the room the smell of the soured, musty shower curtain was more than evident. Leaving on the bathroom fan by the staff didn't fool anyone. When I called the front desk to have it changed, the front desk was not impressed with my request, however, did bring a clean one, passed it to me and left. I was very annoyed that as a guest, I was expected to changed the curtain. The establishment failed to realize that I was a guest not an employee, also I had to dispose of the soiled shower curtain which I put out in the hall by our door. Unless this hotel has it's stained carpets cleaned or replaced, mouldy caulking in bathroom replaced, I don't think it will be a place I would stay in again.
