Checking in the front desk worker seemed bothered to answer my questions. Room were small. Door did not close properly. No elevator for us guests who stay on the second floor with a lot luggage. Bed was sunken in towards the middle.

The room was ok. For the most part clean. I was satisfied with that. But if you value sleep do not stay here. Can hear everything in the hallwall. Doors slamming, toddlers crying at 4am, voices echoing in stairwell. People fighting in parking lot. Not a good night. Left a 7am. Didnt want to be there another minute.

On our journey from Labrador to Edmonton, we made a nice stop in Thunder Bay. Interestingly, before this, we had a short detour through Oklahoma! 😄 In Thunder Bay, we stayed two nights with the family. The beds were super comfortable, and even though our room was on the second floor, it was easy to step out and enjoy a walk outside. The area felt safe and peaceful. I also took the opportunity to get our Kia serviced—everything went smoothly. The kids especially loved watching planes take off and land nearby—it really got them excited! 🛫 To top it off, we found a few great restaurants, especially a Chinese place I really enjoyed. All in all, a restful and fun break in Thunder Bay.
