SpringHill Suites Shreveport-Bossier City/Louisiana Downs

The staff were very courteous and efficient. The breakfast was above adequate, even compared with other SpringHill Suites. The unfortunate element was that the walls are extremely thin--we heard the next door 'neighbor' snoring throughout the night! Also, the bedside lamp's light bulb was broken so we had to put in another lamp's light bulb in order to have light at the bedside. Other than these issues, it was an alright hotel.

Great location. Loved watching the horses at Louisiana Downs train from our hotel window. Recommend this hotel.

very comfortable lodgings! And the rooms are very spacious.

Christmas holiday was a breeze....so glad this room was as clean, roomy, and as relaxing as it was. The front desk clerk Mya (not sure of the spelling) was so helpful and customer friendly. This will be my new place to stay when I visit my family..Great room for my family of 5.

Everything was comfortable and it was an easy hotel to get to. The only problem we had was that the front desk person forgot to mark that we were in the room and tried to give it to someone else. Thankfully, their key didn't work! The one thing I'd like to change is their breakfast starts too late for those traveling unless you like to leave after 7

The stay was good. We got a good rate for a studio. Also the staff was good and very cooperative.

The place was perfect and the staff very nice and helpful. I will stay there again.

Great experience for us and our son. It was his first time in a hotel and it was a good experience.

Room was nice and what I needed. Quaint and the bed was comfortable. There was only one elevator ans trash left in stairwell.

This hotel is extremely clean, the employees are very nice, and it is in a very convinent location. We were able to walk right over to the casino from the hotel parking lot.

Attended the horse race. I hope there is more commercial development in that area. Other than the race track and the casino, not much around the location.

Good location and great atmosphere.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and great amenities. Our only complaint was that when we went to check in at 3:00, we asked for a room overlooking the race track. We were told that was no problem, but we'd have to wait about an hour for it to be cleaned. We ran a errand and came back in an hour, but it was another hour of sitting in the lobby before our room was finally ready. Also, there were not many restaurants close by. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.

The hotel itself was very nice, but it was a long was from downtown and fairly isolated. I was also double billed for my room and haven't been reimbursed.

Place was clean and nice. The only setback was noisy neighbors, but besides that, I would recommend this place.

The Springhill Suites provides a comfortable, attractive suite. The only drawback was the check-in. Rooms were not ready in a timely fashion. However, once we were checked in, everything else was very satisfactory.

The room was nice and big, 2 flat screen TV's, nice lay out, however the bathroom was not clean. The floors were dirty and so were the sink, & tub. It looked like the maintenance crew was there and the room was never cleaned after they were finished. All in all no worries, we still enjoyed our stay and the best past was the free breakfast. All the nice treats you expect for breakfast without the price.
