Love staying at this hotel! The rooms are always clean and comfy. The staff goes over & beyond the norm to make sure I’m comfortable. I’ve stayed here several times over the years and I will continue to come back when I’m in the area.
The woman or say girl didn't care if I had the wrong hotel and told me she'd give me the number to the other instead of calling herself. I was the only one in line. I told her the regular coffee was very weak and that the robust was very weak and that was cheating people and she laughed at me!!!!!!!!!! The guy later said he couldn't make more coffee!!!!! Or I could go next door!!!!!
Water Pressure issue with bathroom and was never resolved during stay and never moved to another suite. Breakfast was Very Poor Quality and Very Limited selection. Biscuits were Very Hard and Cold and there was No gravy. Eggs taste like imitation eggs and oranges were Very Old and not eatable!
1) The quality of the entree during the evening social was horrible. I came down an hour after it started and there were a few dried up patties left (not even sure what it was), a few steak fries, and some squished buns. I saw one dining attendant and she looked very unhappy so I didn't even ask her for help. A different woman asked me how dinner as I was clearing my plate. I told her "OK," but she didn't ask further and continued talking to someone else. 2) I had the do not disturb sign on my door until 2 PM Friday, 2/2. Housekeeping was still on my floor so I didn't think I needed to tell them they could clean my room. When I got back at 8 PM, the room had not been cleaned. I left at 5:30 AM the next morning and the front desk clerk only asked me what type of receipt I wanted for my bill (emailed or printed), so I didn't mention it to him.
Quick and easy to book also earn points through the Hilton Honor Program. The room housekeeper was great! The rooms were cleaned thoroughly and to perfection every time. Looking forward to using them again and again.
This hotel is located right off the interstate and has a couple of great restaurants less than a mile away. The desk staff was super friendly and helpful and after checkout I realized that I left my Firestick plugged into the TV in our room.....went back and the cleaning lady had already secured it in a bag with our name on it waiting for us which I found very honest! Would stay here again!
Friendly staff , clean rooms , breakfast and evening nibbles were good .complimentary beer was a nice touch . No issues with check in or check out . Acces to the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant next door is internal which was very handy
My family plus 2 other family we know stayed here for a wedding. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. We enjoyed having the extra room. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was great! Our family and friends were able to gather in the sitting area down stairs at night after the wedding to talk and reconnect. This is a nice hotel right off the highway, Wal-Mart, gas stations, and several restaurants right down the street. The airport was a short drive away also. The staff were very friendly. There was a security guard on staff at night. I was initially disappointed because there was not an oven in the room. I guess the newer Homewood Suites are being designed with smaller kitchen areas with only 2-top built in stove, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator. Well, I had a pie to bake. It was partially assembled prior to leaving home. I talked to the front desk staff and they allowed me to bake it in their oven! I put it together in my room and took it down stairs and voila!. Talk about customer service! This is an excellent example of doing what is possible to meet the customer's need. I appreciate the staff being empowered to impact the customer experience. We will stay here again when in Shreveport.
We stayed here the past 3 years for almost 2 weeks each time over Christmas to visit with family. After they kept authorizing my debit card during the previous stay and blocking an additional $1200 on my account I decided to reserve via Hilton on advance purchase so they wouldn’t have to touch my card as much, which did make a huge difference. Last year I didn’t make Diamond status in the HHonors program because my reservation carried over into the new year. So this year I emailed Ms Kinney, the front office manager, twice to request if they could check me out on the 31st and transfer the remainder of the prepayment to a new reservation so I could get my diamond status this year. She never responded. My husband spoke with her and she had told him she’d call me in the room but she never did. At that point I called Hilton HHonors and asked if I had to check out in order to make sure I would get it this year. She said no problem as I had checked in on the 20th. Good thing I did and it was recorded because we’re now in January and I didn’t get my status upgrade nor points for my stay. Luckily since I had called they were able to track all of it and fixed it. The room was okay as far as cleanliness goes although the vanity cabinet had dust inside the cubby holes that had been there a while, cob webs in one corner and the garbage disposal didn’t work properly (water would stand in the sink). We stay at the Homewood in Southaven MS a lot where they have extremely comfortable mattresses. I sure wish they had those in Bossier too because they’re hard as a rock. You can’t sleep a full 8 hours without back pain. So all in all an okay stay. But note to Ms. Kinney: don’t bother emailing me now. I have noticed in past dealings you only respond when you see something negative on Hilton questionnaires or Trip Advisor and even then still try to shift the blame to my husband last year. I’m not interested to hear from you now.
The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for us and our grandkids. The room was spacious and accommodating. There was a false fire alarm our first night. There was trash under the sofa sleeper left there by previous guests. The staff were great, the room service food was good. The eggs at the complimentary breakfast were runny. Overall very satisfied. We’ve stayed there several times before because of the two bedroom suite.
