The Homewood Suites Hotel in Bossier City, LA was a very good selection for our two night stay in the area. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and very clean. The bed was excellent. We had good wifi in our room. The location of the property is excellent. It's convenient to I-20, and very close to the casinos. They offer free shuttle service to the casinos, and even though we did use that, I did see the van several times and thought that was a good perk to offer guests. The breakfast was fine. There were hot items along with the standard complimentary breakfast fare. The area for dining is comfortable and attractive, clean and spacious. When visiting this area, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.

I come to Barksdale Afb twice a year and always try to stay here. The rooms are nice and beds comfortable. They are always clean and it's in a convenient location. I find the price is very good for what you get, stove top, fridge sink.

Always enjoy my stay at this amazing establishment. From the helpfulness of its employees to the wonderful evening reception to the morning breakfast I am always pleased when me and the mrs. get away from everything back home to enjoy a little bit of gambling.

This hotel was one of the best hotel I have every stayed. It was a suite. The rooms were very spacious.Check in was quick. The only problem I had was we came in three different cars, it took a while for my grand children to find a parking space. Homewood Suites is connected to another hotel. The food was great. This hotel would be great for meetings and family reunions. Its has a lot of space.

Excellent pool! It's big enough for several kids playing at one time. The spraying water feature is nice. Pool temperature felt good Labor Day weekend even though some rain/cooler evenings earlier in the week. Plenty of lounge chairs and chairs with tables. Also a covered lounge area right outside of the gate of the pool. Lighted, with ceiling fans and comfortable seating to hang out or eat at. The whirlpool was a good temperature although the jets wouldn't stay on (another frequent visitor to the hotel said that had never happened before). Didn't see pool towels so you'd have to ask (we brought our own beach towels). Nice BBQ areas if you want to cook out and sit by grill. Small putting green area next to pool. We had a courtyard view of this area but it was super quiet in our third floor, king studio room. Window curtains very dark, which was nice. Two windows in room. We left one cracked for a little light to go to the bathroom at night as turning on the light might wake each other from the king bed next to bathroom (sink area has no door but it's fine). 9 year old slept comfortably in the pull out sofa. Fresh sheets and blankets were in closet for it. Easy pull out sofa sleeper. TV swiveled so you could watch in king bed or sofa side. Nice table and business chair. We enjoyed having the small dining table for when we ordered pizza from Johnny's pizza (good by the way). There is a soft night light that stays on over stove area which was nice for our son on sleeper sofa side. Full sized fridge. They leave you some Keurig coffee and tea with couple creamers. There are salt and pepper packets, paper towels and dish detergent. Of course some plates and such. Microwave nice. Our kitchen sink drain ran slow. Room was clean. Nice bath towels! Large, easy step in shower with excellent water pressure! Water heated up quickly! Dryer in bathroom. Closet with luggage rack and iron/ironing board. Multiple doors and elevators to room and pool so all areas seemed convenient. Our room was very quiet on third floor. We only heard a couple times walking above us later in morning. There's a nice gas station close to hotel. I liked inner courtyard view. Back view has little run down type apartments (nothing bad just not pretty view). Location excellent to everything- casinos, boardwalk, etc. Easy, quick drive. Hotel shuttle provided. So nice and no wait when we were there on sold out, Saturday night of Labor Day weekend. Lobby, maid staff and security guards all so friendly and helpful! Breakfast area was clean, staff very nice, average breakfast but nice it's included in price! Waffle machines put up on weekend, which was disappointing, but understand it's a very booked up place. Eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pastries, bagels, French toast, apple juice, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit, yogurt and toppings bar. Easy check in, check out. Felt safe at this location. Hilton garden is half of the hotel but breakfast is sit down and extra. Both sides share pool and courtyard areas. Never heard any outside noises. Family and pet friendly. We never heard any pets although we did see a dog on our floor. We like animals so ok with us. Oh, plenty of plug ins and device charge station in room. Also an alarm clock and lots of lamps. Our bed was very comfortable and great pillows! We would definitely stay here again!

When traveling with a pet it's difficult to find a nice place to stay. I've tried several places in Shreveport/Bossier City and this hotel offer the best value by far. Spacious, clean rooms with a kitchenette for chilling and warming up those leftovers. Highly recommend!

19 days at Homewood suites was a good experience friendly and helpful staff. The social hour was deafly a money saver on my trip. The breakfast was not as good as I would like but it was OK for something to grab and go.

The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. We Enjoyed the bar and the food was great. The room was very clean and everything worked fine. The pool and hot tub were nice. The shuttle was also nice and driver very friendly.

I'm so happy we chose this hotel as the host site for our family reunion. The rooms were clean, spacious, breakfast was plentiful and the beds were comfortable. What made it even better was the professional staff and their willingness to make our stay and our event a success, because we had almost 300 people in attendance. The event planner, chef Karl and his crew, and Carl made sure the food, banquet room, hospitality room, etc.,was on point. Addie was helpful before the reunion started. I would recommend to stay here and if you need a venue for an event and a large number of people to lodge, I highly suggest you choose this hotel.

Our room was nice, clean and spacious. We were only staying one night but if we were planning on staying longer the suite would have been nice. With that being said I was disappointed that the manager's reception wasn't on Sunday evening as that reception was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Also while they do have a breakfast in the morning it doesn't start until 6:30 and we had to leave by 6 so we really missed out on the two main reasons to even stay in this hotel. Finally the A/C wasn't working great in the bedroom portion of the suite. The living area was nice and cool but the bedroom, not so much. Oh, one last comment I just thought of regarding cleanliness. Our shower had 2-3 long black hairs on the back wall. Not exactly what you want to see when you're trying to get clean yourself.
