Courtyard by Marriott Santa Fe

3.0 out of 5.0

This hotel is significantly overpriced for the dated condition of the hotel and rooms. I wouldn't pay more than $50-60 a night to stay here again. Staff was hit or miss, some were great and others didn't seem to have the time. Location is on a main thoroughfare but not that nice a part of town. Stayed two nights, my room was never cleaned. Police were called to deal with a lunatic/drunk who busted into the lobby demanding $40 while I was checking in. TV is dated and the hotel's cable isn't user friendly, is very slow and doesn't compare well to other hotels. I travel a lot, all over the country. I can't believe other people have given this place an average of 4 stars. Especially for the Marriott name, this joint is very below average.

Hotel has nice amenities--pool, hot tub, fitness. We liked the friendliness and accommodating staff.

Hotel is nice & easy access to everything just a little run down

The biggest drawback is when it is cold you have to walk outside to get to any area.

Staff was great. Room could have used a bit more lighting, but other than that it was fine.

This hotel offers good sized rooms at reasonable Santa Fe prices. The hotel is located a couple of mile from the Plaza and requires transportation. (The hotel does offer a shuttle service.)

It was quick in and out stay but beds were great got a good nights rest.

a bit off the main attractions need a car. good value good restaurants nearby will stay again.

Great stay, centrally located, no continental or breakfast. My phone kept "flashing" and called staff , and they said I had a "message", and to retrieve message. That didn't work. I finally just took headset off the phone so it would not be a strobe in the room as I tried to sleep. Went the next morning to the desk, and same explanation. The girl came to the room, and tried everything and said that she would report it for repair......they never came, so each night I took the headset off, so I wouldn't have a "strobe" in my dark room as there are 2 phones in there......irritating...also, they tried to charge me for a "room service" that someone else had that they stated my room #.....finally got that removed......irritating....other than that, it's a great stay....

Fine experience. However, with two of us in the room (double beds, so planned for 2) there needed to be a comfortable chair for reading, and an additional mirror. The only mirror is in the bathroom---somewhat limiting for two people getting dressed. This hotel is quite a distance from the center of town, somewhat inconvenient. The "Bistro" is the only dining room. It is very limited, with order at the counter, and service of what has been ordered.

The only problem with this place (if it is a problem) is that it is pretty far away from central Santa Fe. But the room was nice, the pool and other amenities were quite good, and there are a slew of restaurants and a mall near-by.

made to the hotel room was not clean after a 12 hr day clerk attended to someone before me even though I was next in line. I really normally like the courtyard but I did not get pleased until the day of discharge unfortunately

Staff were friendly. Room was very clean. Liked the enclosed swimming pool.

This is on prime area and not far from downtown. Lot of businesses around the hotel

Overall an ok experience for a overnight stay. Was slightly surprised at 15-20 moths flying out of the room when I first opened the door! Took a while to lure them out. Front desk was apologetic but not sure if anything can be done about the moths.

Everyone was great, kind, helpful with directions and tips. I would stay again.

good staff, room was clean & comfortable., .recent renovations greatly improved this hotel since last July.

Keys were very touchy and hard to operate. Hotel is being renovated and parking is scarce in some areas. Staff was vey helpful.

Pleasant stay for one night. Had nice clean, quite room . Has a small Resturant where we had a very nice meal and a drink. Perfect, we didn't want to venture out for we were very tired.

Nice clean, comfortable room. Staff at desk very friendly! I do think breakfast should be included for all who stay in room- we were paying for 4 people in our room but only had vouchers for 2.
