Not very happy! we did not get there till late 11:30pm come to find out the air conditioning was broke and was miserable. called down to front desk the next morning and sent a ground keeper up to fix but they had no idea what to do. I would like some kind of a refund for the poor hotel. The staff said they could not reimburse me for any of it.

The hotel staff were very helpful and professional. Food from room service was hot and well prepared. The room was spacious, but there were problems. It was not clean. The table with the coffee setup had sugar all over it and a used coffee bag still in the machine. The bathtub faucet had pubic hair stuck in it. The heater was extremely loud and didn't keep the room warm. There was a constant high-pitched whine from the window area. And the desk lamp didn't have a lightbulb in it. There were signs posted that the hotel would be remodeled so maybe some of this will be fixed.

The DoubleTree ABQ is well-located for accessing downtown, University of New Mexico and Nob Hill. In nice weather the Rio Grande River Valley Park and the BioPark Zoo and Aquarium are walking distance. It is close to the bus for access outside those areas. Housekeeping kept my room neat and tidy, and the 5:30am airport shuttle was a great relief. However, the front desk staff let me down at check-in. One of the clerks closed with a terse I'm on break now. The other gave the guest in front of me an effusive description of the hotel and amenities. I asked about the pool, only to be informed it had just closed for the season. The clerk didn't apologize, just said well have a nice stay and handed me my key card and their comment card and then handed me the cookie. She didn't tell me about any amenities, not the wifi, not the happy hour, not the meal specials or events nearby. There was no one waiting to check in, so she didn't need to rush. I felt like I wasn't welcome. It's a nice property, but there are a few others I will stay in with more reliable service.

The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful, even going out of their way to help us get some late night snacks. Very much appreciated!

Well-appointed hotel that meets the needs of business people on the go.

It is a nice hotel in the center of town. I enjoyed it

We stayed at the hotel for a recent event at the Convention center. the location was wonderful and the staff was friendly and very helpful

The room was clean, well decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. Parking is $10 per day, but you are able to park across the street for free. You are able to print your plane tickets for free at the business center and the fitness center was great! They have towels, headphones if you didn't bring yours, free weights, and up to date machines. The only negative was that I had to wait about 10 minutes to check in because the front desk wasn't staffed.

what I like is their nice and accommodating staff, from shuttle service, front desk, and dinning . the manager Gus is the nicest fellow. he asked if we liked their service and we didn't even know he is the manager. we also commend the driver of the shuttle service. he informed us about what they offer free of charge. we were there during Labor Day weekend and there was a wine festival that he informed us which we liked and went. and to top it all was the welcome freshly baked cookie. this hotel is awesome.

There were some positives to this hotel experience: The cooks and service staff in the breakfast area were accommodating and helpful, and the staff who serviced the room did an excellent job. That is where the hotel service stopped. We arrived at approximately 1:30 pm for a 3:00 pm check in. The person who was at the desk would not register us because it was too early (understood). The registration area had 3 or 4 computers, and she had to move among these to find our reservation. This registration area needs modification. It is disorganized and unattractive as it is now. The rooms have Wi-Fi that works sometimes. When the registration staff was informed, this lack was attributed to a storm a couple of days after we arrived, although the problem had been present from the first day. Registration staff were lacking in manners, and need retraining.

Handicap room had little room for getting around in a wheel chair. Housekeeping did not replace glasses and coffee. No coffee creamer. Coffee pot area was dark and therefore hard to read directions. Holes in the sheets. Very noisy---I could hear conversations easily.

If I ever go back to Albuquerque I will definitely sray at the Diuble Tree hotel

We had a convention a block away at the Hyatt. I decided to stay at the Double Tree. It was great! The hotel's shuttle picked me up from the airport and took me back to the airport. They even dropped me off at Old Town for some shopping and sightseeing. The staff and driver were very professional and helpful. I loved the convenience to the convention, but it was slightly more economonical to stay here and the amenities were great. I highly recommend this hotel.

the staff was great and the hotel was in a great location for what we were doing....

First off the only drawbacks were a snafu in my room reservations and the lack of amenities. An attentive and sincere staff made the difference. I will gladly trade a wrong room assignment and no property amenities (pool. gym.etc) for these professionals. If you want personal care and a willingness to please stay here. My favorite experience was being able to go to and from the hotel with the help of the courtesy shuttle as often as I needed. Thanks again.

This hotel was fantastic. My only complaint was the air conditioner was a little loud. Loved the location. The staff in the restaurant was great, they actually remembered us and what we all drank with our breakfast, and even the comments I made about our husbands the previous morning! They were great. Will stay there again and again!!

The parking lot was full after my ten hour drive, had to park a block down the street, and did not know about the underground walkway to the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, conveniently located right across from the convention center where I competed, has a restaurant (little pricey) and cafe, and provides a shuttle. That part was particularly nice for me. Due to my involvement in competition all weekend, I did not get to sightsee beautiful Albuquerque! Prior to checking out Monday, the hotel arranged for their shuttle bus to take me and drop me off @ Old Town (a must-see) where I had breakfast and was able to walk around and shop for souvenirs for my family and myself. They then picked me back up an hour later and brought me back to the hotel! I really appreciated that. They also quickly resolved an issue where "twice" I was billed for parking when I didn't have a car!! That's not a real complaint, it was just a wee bit annoying! My ONLY complaint was that even though we arrived a couple hours before check-in, the hotel knew that hundreds of people would be arriving out of town for this event and should have had the rooms ready sooner since the previous guests had already checked out. We had to wait almost 2 hours for our room. With that said...they provided those maddenenly DELICIOUS cookies while we waited and that helped pass the time! Overall...GREAT hotel and GREAT service! I'd definitely stay there again without hesitation!!!

i was there for a conference and parked in your parking lot. My friend was also there, and she was also checking in being charged also. After paying $101.10, you'd think yo were through paying. But no, you have to pay another $10.00 PER vehicle. My friend tried to pay this fee before checking in so it wouldn't go on my credit card but they wouldn't allow it, so if i don't pay off my bill ON TIME it gets charged interest.

It was just what we had in mind. Great location.
